Mark Emmert was excellent and he was the "north". Also, I am pretty sure he is a little more open minded than you about social issues. Then again, that's a low bar for you.

If anyone gave a shite about basketball outside the handful of losers that cry on this website the answer would be posssibly.

Really? Because I'm completely open to gay marriage, abortion, legalizing pot, and pretty much every other common sense social issue out there right now. Not to get political on the Rant, but Alexander is a virtue signalling, arse kissing moron who immediately jumps on backing stupid social issues like the "noose" a while back which turned out to be a fricking electrical wire.
Maybe if he were less concerned with sending out emails in 3 seconds about every social issue that involves people of color before he gets all the facts, and a little more concerned with keeping one of LSU's biggest moneymakers running smoothly I.E. athletics, then I'd like him a little more. He has hired three basketball coaches who have failed. He conducted a clueless like football search and then settled for a DL coach who hadn't even been able to land a DC job after he failed miserably as the head coach at Old Miss.
