Is Alabama just not as good as first thought?

Throw out the ints, an aTm is dominating them, on the road.

They’ve had multiple slow starts this season.

If they lose to 2026 Marcel Reed, I will be shocked.

They’re a 9-3 type team. Good, not great or elite

Yep. A very dangerous team. I think we'll be locked in when we play them.

There are about 10 SEC teams that can compete very well...very balanced year

To be honest, their 1st few games were against lesser talent, until UGA

Don't know how I feel about them coming to BR losing 3 in a row. On one hand they may just implode, on the other they may be hyper motivated.

It will be a game in 2 weeks in death valley. Rest and get healthy during bye week. Treydez Green obviously was still limping. Alabama will be fighting for a playoff spot just like we are. Both coaching staffs will be going all out for a win.

Are they may simply be less talented (or coached, or both) than previously thought

I think its NIL. You no longer keep extra 5 star guys as backups. No depth anymore

No, they aren’t.
Defense is bipolar, and offense is non-existent.
This is the worst team I’ve seen since the Shula days.
Everything Saban built has been completely destroyed by this coaching staff.
