Is a Blake Baker D finally going to stop a mobile quarterback?

Not sure it’s been considered enough, lost in the shuffle of a couple of great efforts against immobile quarterbacks.

He can finally get pressure with only the front four for the first time. That should help

6&7 Will seek to destroy Sir Tonsillitis

If they prove they can this week and next week then look out cause Kiffin has never had a top rated D

I think we will be fine against chambliss. That Oline is bad for OM. Not to look to next week, but that'll really tell us if he can finally stop a mobile QB

Yes because defense is not practicing against Nuss.

I think A&M OL maybe worse than Ole Piss’… plus it’s A&M first road game.

I just mean in terms of the running ability by each. The guy from A&M is a lot more difficult for us to stop, imo.

Yeah I agree. Will be a great test to see how far this defense has come

Their oline isn’t bad

They've been doing it in practice all offseason so I hope we are over that hump.

OM? They were when I watched them against Louisville. Plus they had some injuries on the RT I believe, and I also believe one of their key backups at OT is OUT.

Their guards have been solid but the center has been meh and the tackles have been poor and gotten bailed out by chambliss

One thing I noticed in the Louisville game is Chambliss is taking off a lot less. Last year they had Austin Simmons behind him who was the starter originally. I don’t think they feel as comfortable with him running this year.

Ole Miss finished 2nd in the nation in total defense in 2024 and still lost 3 games.

It’s the second half that matters let’s make it to the second half but this dude Trinidad is really freaking good ! Dint forget that ole miss has the advantage because they are the home team that matters!

Not only are the front 4 getting pressure, they are extremely disciplined containing qb inside the pocket

Yeah, now that Harold Perkins has moved on to the NFL

I would hope Baker has asked CLK how they planned to beat him last year. That way Baker can make changes based on what the other team did.
