Old nay Bob of negativity. LSU and many others will never beat bama while Saban is there. Next year we will go 11-1 best 10-2 worst.

Sure today it is.

By August 2019 it'll be the tough schedule, the les miles tranfers, the youth of _______ and Ed will need a 3 yr extension for recruiting purposes on way to a 8-4 record

2018 was a no excuse year, but look at all of the excuses flying around, there's a new one from O pumpers every day.

If 0 doesn't win at least 10 games next season he needs to be shown the door without question. If he has another 9 or less regular season campaign, it will be 3.5 years with him at the helm and zero improvement. The program can't afford to let him fester for longer than that or else it will be looking at an actual (not made up) rebuild for the next coach.

THIS was a no excuses year. O had the OC he wanted. Period. There were no excuses this year.

there are many on this board who believe texas' roster and head coach are crap.

9-3 should be grounds for termination next year.

Bama will be even better next year and this year they had the best college football team ever so that is 1 loss.

There will be 3 toss up games in Texas, Florida & A&M. If we win 2 of the 3 then it's a good football season. If we win all 3 then it's a great season.

8-4 disappointing
9-3 average
10-2 good season
11-1 great season

You can always throw players under the bus.

Should next year's squad be one that builds on a 9-10 win season? Next year we return a SR QB, at the least we've got a ton of returning o-line experience, we add a 5 star running back in Emery, young revievers have a year of experience....

On the defensive side we lose Greedy and White which are big holes to fill but other than that we shouldn't be reamed by departures on defense.

2019 should figure to be the most favorable set up for Coach O so far. Get past Texas in week two and the schedule is fairly favorable. Auburn, Florida and A&M are home games.

The pieces are there to be a contender IMO.

I think we still go 10-2 Next year, but don't underestimate the loss of Cole Tracy. I know we have a good recruit coming in, but he will be unproven.

yeah...except UF and A&M are in the confines of Tiger Stadium. you trade in UGA for @Vandy.

you return everyone except: Brossette, Brumfield, Moreau, Greedy, White, Tracy. on offense with the people coming in thats addition by subtraction.

Fehoko and Lawrewnce and Alexander will stay. this is a historically deep DL class. none of them will go before 4th round, and thats being nice. Fulton could leave, but I think he has a chip on his shoulder losing that 2017 season. Chaisson is back. Stingley comes in as a day 1 Greedy replacement. Delpit and Stevens is already the 2019 best safety tandem in america.

simply put, finishing next year with 9-3 is a fireable offense.

This was supposed to be a "no excuses year." Every year should be a "no excuses year."

Next year will start as "no excuses" but the cheerios will have a huge list of excuses by the end of the year if things don't go well.

I'm not so sure. There really are not any available to them.

cant use schedule again.
cant use "were young" again.
cant use "new OC" again.

Absolutely. Returning DL and OL and QB with more talent in the backfield. Way easier schedule as well. I expect nothing less than the SEC Championship.

i will say this... with Tua Back next year, i would say nothing less than a 1- loss Playoff birth... No way he should not be in the final 4 next season, no way... Playoff Birth or Bust... period... If Im alleva i sell orgeron, wait on extension talks next season with that in front of you... then still keep him low $ and low buyout money because NO ONE is going to come after him and theres no way he would ever leave for another job either... period...

Yes, no excuses next year. Until the year begins and we lose a couple players from transferring, have a player or 2 get kicked off the team for violating rules and we have a couple players injured. At that point, 2020 will be our year. Wash, rinse and repeat.

All three of these excuses will be employed again next year.

I mean, they can certainly use them, but they have no weight.

LSU will be returning 8 starters on offense and, at worst, 7 on defense. that doesnt include Chaisson. the 3 starters on offense are all immediately replaced by better options.

the schedule is objectively easier.

if LSU does in fact have a new OC ( ) then I will allow it.
