Considering Garth Brooks is a big ole Hollywood leftist these days than an actual country music artist, this shouldn't come as a shock.
Now that said, obviously innocent until proven guilty should still be applied here. But just not surprising...

I can only hope they don’t play that song anymore in TS.

Maybe they start playing “Born in the Bayou” by Creedance Clearwater Revival

I agree. Maybe just play Eye of the Tiger in its place.

It has become a big part of the Game day experience. It is a fan favorite and it really gets the crowd into it. Why some on here just exist to be outright turds about everything is a mystery. Shitty concessions yes bitch about that, Shitty traffic management after games..definitely bitch about that. But bitching about Calling Baton Rouge? WTF seriously. Some on here would complain about a free 100 dollar bill. smh

It makes no sense as to why the delicate ones are doing what they're doing, Geaux retro and make Tiger Stadium GREAT again! (Field Paint too)

Innocent until proven guilty (or liable as the case is a civil case)
Also, art greater than the artist, we're keeping that damn song, Baton Rouge never gets sung about in such a great light

They need to do that before every game, I know Calling Baton Rouge is the equivalent to Sweet Home Alabama being played at the start of Bama games but both Born on the Bayou and Calling are great for us

He touched me too. Where do I get in line?

I’d rather see “born on the bayou” be our 3rd quarter light show battle cry song. At this point callin Baton Rouge is a staple and everyone expects it but man there’s potential with “born on the bayou”

Well they play rap over the loud speakers made by artists who have committed many crimes and also the golden band from tigerland just did a whole Michael Jackson tribute so I would say no.

Thank you for this
So true

Actually, that's not even a Garth Brooks song .The song was written by Dennis Linde and released in 1989 by the New Grass Revival Band long before Garth Brooks ever recorded the song in the 1990's. Of course, the music industry saw to it that the song became a big hit for Garth. The New Grass Revival band is now inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame, and you can go to YouTube and listen to the original cd cut or watch their Video that was released in 89 . Btw, its so much kooler that Garth ever did it !
