How can a novice understand the scoring when the teams are doing 2 different events. By scoring, I mean who’s ahead & by how much

She’s not on the meet notes roster for today. According to her Snapchat, she didn’t report back after Christmas Break either.

Not just tall. Skenes is built like a TE. 6’7 250.

Brah looked as intense as I’ve ever seen him watching Livvy

Everyone gets a 9.875! Not really. Ballard had the best of the routines so far and scored the lowest.

So is LSU not doing the meet at the River Center this year? My wife asked me something about it and I noticed it's not on the schedule anymore.

Dad, look at total scoring for each team after each rotation. There are 4 rotations. Judges score each of 6 gymnasts, minus any deductions for mistakes. The higher the score the better. The best individual scores for the best gymnasts will be 9.90 and higher, 10 is a perfect score. They show the individual scores so you can usually tell which team will lead after each rotation. But after each rotation, it will show on side screen which team is in the lead (accumulated score). If it's very competitive and close, the team leader may be up by only 0.20 or 0.30 points after each rotation.
LSU should easily win this meet, you can tell our routines are far superior to ISU. Our freshmen look great. Some people have commented that gymnasts are some of the best all-around athletes.

The screen to the right shows overall. You can’t know until n event is finished and each team drops their lowest score

Makes sense. I saw Baton Rouge and didn't look at the location.

Have they announced attendance? It looks about 3/4 full in here at least.
