I don’t think that the alignment is as important as you think it is. Half the pitchers in LL these days are lefty’s. This isn’t 1980. My point is that if you are getting zero production from one player, why would you trot him out there? He has at least two starts and maybe one hit against far inferior comp. Why not let another bat get a chance that’s already in the game?
