You think Ole Miss fans are delusional..... This is from a bama fan blog:

I do not think that a 3rd National Title for Florida in the last 4 year will be good for our program.

When Saban took this job, he had in mind two processes. The first is well known. The second involved a strategic plan to return Bama to perennial Dominance in the South.

Step one... In-state dominance

Largely achieved. Ears is long gone. We are getting our choice of Alabama players. Over the next three years, this job will be finished, with the departure of Ches..whatever...and the permanent relegation of the Barn to the bottom third of the SEC, along with Vandy and Kentucky.

Step two... incursions into Georgia and landing a dozen or so top tear players from other Southeastern states. See the the Atlanta games and Bama's new found emphasis on Georgia prospects.

Step three is assumed... The demise of LSU. While apparently still strong, and recruiting well, it is Saban's intention over the next three years, to destroy Les. Last year's win at LSU helps, and the consensus is LSU will slowly atrophy... allowing Saban to reestablish himself in Louisiana in a big, big way. On course.

That leaves Florida. The core of the strategy to demoralize and destroy the Gators...

Now this is critical... In order for Saban's complete vision to be achieved, college football within the state of Florida must become competitive again, meaning Miami and Florida State must reemerge as serious threats within this state, and begin to reap thier share of prospects. For this to happen, Florida must not be allowed to survive the loss of Tebow unscathed.

In my opinion, a 3rd national title for Florida will delay Saban's five year road to utter dominance, by creating such a momentum or the Gaytor's

I'm not talking about parity here. we can achieve rough parity with the recruits we are getting. But dominance across the south requires that the Urban Juggernaut be slowed.

Perhaps no one can stop Florida is year. But I assure you, that while Coach wants you and me and the team to think process and not results, he is obsessing on preventing Florida from rolling to a third title (see his all day meeting with Bob Stoops. It's theme... defeat the spread).

In short, we must defeat Florida now .. THIS YEAR ... and with Tebow under center.

Saban's master plan requires it.

It is what it is. You can't deny the truth.

You tie southern cal for one NC (everybody knows Southern Cal was the real National Champs) and you have a 2 loss season for another that they had to give ya'll, unfortunately.....

You have had a decent program the last 10 years with 2 fluke NC's but you better get ready....Welcome to the Ole Miss runnin' the SEC Era...

Dude...tell us what it feels like to go 0-8 in the SEC 2 years ago. Tell us what it feels like to not have have been alive to see ONE SEC football championship. Keep clinging on to the Nutt dream. After all, he was racking up championships at Arky and all. The Nutt era is in full effect, with you guys being just below Tulane and David Cutcliffe at Duke in recruiting rankings.

I will actually pay attention to these OM fans when the Rebs actually make it to Atlanta.....until then, your team is irrelevant.

Ole Piss must be forgetting that they have to play Memphis.
