How did they play 11 away games against 3 OOC (right?) teams?

They scheduled 4 game series against all 3 teams (but the 4th against Jacksonville got canceled).

You don’t get to a super regional without being salty.

Baton Rouge has a much higher population. They don't have a chance this weekend.

Here's an interesting stat about LSU:

They are 33-6

At home.

Interesting tidbit about WVU road schedule:

It was rubbish. They lost 7 out of their last 8 road games

Little Rock wasn't good either (losing record near the bottom of their conference), until the Ncaa Tourney, and they almost won it all in BR. At this point of the year, you can throw all those numbers out the window. Starts over, it's game 1. Anyone can beat a higher ranked team on their home field on any given day. Be prepared and don't take any team for granted. The heat in the 100s this weekend may effect some players on both teams.

LSU typically has 1 or 2 weekends where they play 4 games. They just tend to bring in multiple teams for the weekend rather than playing one team 4 times. This year it was Omaha and Nicholls St. It’s more common for smaller programs to schedule 4 game series to save on travel costs, especially West Coast teams.

I wasn’t suggesting LSU could just show up and win. I was only providing context to WVU’s gaudy road record. LSU should take them seriously because they won their regional regardless of regular season performance.
