The defense sure had a hard time making tackles, but if they had SEC honors for trash talking the opponent they'd be first team.

How about flexing after tackling a RB 9-10 yards downfield?

Was Max Johnson really that bad in the 4th quarter or is some of that on play calling and/or receivers?

They continually had Nix flushed out of pocket with the coverage from the secondary. He then proceeded to maneuver around the pass rushers like they were slow-moving zombies with no fingers on their hands. Should have had at least 3 sacks….At least. Poor tackling cost us the game, IMHO.

Did we ever stick our hands up to try to deflect the pass? I never saw it.
Did we ever send a blitzing lb or db?
Did we ever control our rush to keep him in the pocket?
It was a ridiculous show of manifold asninity .

Haha I saw that one where Auburn was just running down the defense's throat at the end of the game and Clark acting all swole and shite when he tackled the running back out of bounds at the 1/2 yard line lol

He had some throws that could have been better. The one where Boutte almost held on to extend the LSU drive felt like it just kept floating higher and higher and would never come down. Amazing it wasn't picked off.

As bad as everything was, if LSU simply tackles Bo Nix, they win the game fairly easily.

The running game in the 4th quarter was more interesting.

Throwing every down cost us the game. Auburn handed LSU three points on a stupid on side attempt and then held the mighty Tigers to 3 points the rest of the way.

Not being able to tackle Nix was bad, but give the Nix kid some credit.

The 2nd half offense of LSU was pathetic, especially against that defense. Shameful.

You can't throw all night long with no threat of a running attack. Even an average defense will figure you out by the 4th quarter.

We're literally a respectable running game away from being undefeated. We've won with lesser defense, and Lord knows we've won with lesser QB play.

I feel like they almost expected they were gonna get a heavy dose of Finley and figured they’d get to him easily

Everything being said in this thread is absolutely true and spot on but I still can’t understand how they had a qb run around like that and not ONE holding call!!

That's all on Jones. He needs to put a stop to that shite right now. They were embarrassing in the 2nd half and made a bad SEC QB look like an All-American.

2 series changed the game mid 2nd quarter. 4th and 1 at the 5 coming out of a timeout up 10-0 and Turner fricking jumps causing a FG. Following drive, Nix makes the circus play on 4th down for a TD.

I feel if we go up 17-0 it would’ve been lights out.

Kiner needs 15+ carries a game. Ward is playing very well. If Deion Smith catches either pass that hit him in the hands in the EZ, we win.

Infuriating game that we had no business losing. Felt a lot like a Miles game.
