bullshite.
its EXACTLY why O was content to play to a 10-0 loss against bama in 2016. he knew as long as he played bama close and beat everyone else the job was his.
thats why when he lost to UF 16-10 at home, everyone knew his chances of getting the job were nil. seriously. go back and find the threads from that day. november 19, 2016

One cant objectively argue winning those games is considering anything but what should be expected
We went to college station as underdogs.
Do you want to ge objective or no?

Dave, loosen your tin foil hat buddy.

I am making the point beating 7-4 A&m should not be seen as "exceeding expectations". Our poor play is what lowered the bar on that line
We were also underdogs to an eventual 5 loss miami and auburn.

You said no one could objectively argue that we shouldn’t have won that game.
We were underdogs. Just curious how that is not objective.
I don’t think your views on the subject, as an LSU fan, is as objective as Vegas.

Well we weren't expected to win by the odds makers
I'm not sure what else to tell you. You're going to demand that we win road games that we're not favored in and then bitch about it after?

We have the most players in the NFL and our fans think 9-4 is good

Vegas knew about the fix

We don't have a ton on this team

So did Texas and TA&M. But, there's "always next year".

Sure. I mean obviously we're not winning the national championship this year. No point in obsessing over something that's been written in stone since Nov 3rd

And if it is considered that due to where the current staff has the team positioned, it’s time for a change

I'd say we had plenty of freshmen and underclassmen making big impacts. Unless you think Delpit, Joseph, Vincent, Hellaire, Chase, Marshall, Hines, Charles, Cushenberry, Chaisson*, Phillips all sucked and didn't contribute. That's just off the top of my head.
Which brings us back to my original post on the topic. LSU has more talent than 10 of the 12 teams we played this year. They didn't overachieve this year with that much talent.
Thanks for making my point.

No. It doesn't. It shits on your other post alluding to us not having young guys contribute.

Cause getting blown out by ole miss & ark & auburn is the same as losing to two ranked teams on the road lol.
Well, Orgeron has a blowout loss to State, LSU's first ever loss to a Sun Belt team and LSU's first loss to aTm since they joined the conference.
Is one really worse than the other?

Except that didn't happen THIS season.
Read the post he's responding to. None of it has anything to do with just this season.
If you're going to chime in, make sure you're up to speed.

Got cleaned up this year & that’s all you can ask for. Proof is in the pudding.
Last time I checked LSU finished 2017 with a 9-3 regular season, the same as 2018. If by "cleaned up" you mean LSU didn't lose to another Sun Belt team, you'd be correct.'
I guess that's something worth celebrating now?

That makes no sense, what a dumb fricking post

In retrospect this team probably overachieved
I've been saying that the entire year.
Give them all the credit in the world for it, but our statistical results do not match our win-loss record.
