We’re also leaving out guys who’ve played and played well but have retired within that time. Cam, Luck, Smith etc. I agree it’s an overvalued position especially when it’s a 1st round pick beyond the first or second guy in rare cases and I agree they do make some weird judgments. I mean how could anyone think Bryce Young would be better than Stroud? That one was a head scratcher all the way.

I guess my point it, is Nuss that good at anything that you can overlook that he has never had a good season in college?

He has a good arm, but he isn’t Jamarcus Russel. He has a weaker arm and is less athletic than Richardson.

I get frustrated with nuss as much as anyone
But everting you types is 100% true and it's big part of his regression

Well NFL edge rushers too . He may get a team with a suspect O-line .

Thing is we as fans judge results 90/10 and sometimes there are other things happening beyond what he’s doing that’s causing the chaos. Right now we’re in total disarray everywhere so it’s hard to make a real judgment based on results. He played really well early vs some good Ds and some poor ones and now it’s just bad no matter who we play. I heard Salisbury comment on him telling Kelly he was trying to protect the ball and how that’s a bad sign from coaching because it’s supposed to be factored in. You make the right read and let it rip, if you’re trying to consciously protect the ball something is dysfunctional from the top down.

Richardson sucked, and he top 5.

Don't tell madking that. The only argument I've ever gotten into it with him on here was on the msb when he was white knighting for Richardson and talking about how great he was.

Yea that’s false, I posted why he was taken early and that his first few starts were good per the numbers. Thats it.

Some of our fan base is truly mentally retarded. Nuss sucks.

Totally agree with you. If Our fan base likes a player, then its never his fault.

Teams know how to get after Nuss now and figured him. They know he get nervous when he is pressured and they know he can't run out of phone booth.

Texas Am exposed Nuss in the 2nd half. Actually South Carolina did earlier this year and had two pick 6's against him that were called back .

He's not a top caliber SEC QB

I think thats fair and reasonable.

But at the same time, Mac Jones looked amazing in that 2020 team and he still sucks.

Nuss does a lot of stuff that’s super questionable.

Bullsh*te. Did you see what he did on the last two drives vs Ole Miss? That was miracle worker in process.

That unbelievable throw he made Sunday, he’d done that before vs Tennessee and there’s maybe 2 other human beings who can make a throw like that.

Richardson’s mechanics have been cleaned up quite a bit since Florida and he is more accurate now.

He’s processing fine in the NFL

He’s started every game he’s been healthy in the NFL and been good. What are you talking about?

You’re talking about Florida? Lol my god man, we’re talking about him as a player in the NFL. Again 7th in passer rating, 2nd in QBR and if you want to compare his first 5 starts to his peers be my guest.

You were super high on that 9/19 47% comp% game week one.

Fixed it for you.

Marcel Reed was a mediocre backup before that game, but LSU had no answer for that substitution. Is Blake Baker really the multimillion dollar man?

I thought Jones would be not great but better than he is. The people around him made him look better than he was.

Where in there did I say he was great or claimed his completion % was great? What you claimed was false and what you just posted proves exactly what I said.

he was 4 for 11 on that drive.

I mean credit is where credit is due, he scored when we needed to score, but damn. at some point if someone does things well so rarely when don’t think maybe it’s luck?

and that’s my point. Jones would have looked way worse on a team without a good Ol, Harris and Smith.

So is he a good QB or just a guy in the right spot?

He was a good college QB surrounded by legit NFL guys. Jones as a prospect wasn’t considered a physically gifted player.

Dude definitely knows quarterbacking

What in the actual frick. That is so bad and doesn't make a lick of sense.

that’s BS

Joe Burrow is smart, acccurate and cool under pressure.

Ok then you give Burrow the wr corp this year 2024 season back in 2019 and Sloan is the offensive coordinator and tell me LSU goes undefeated.

Give Nuss this season 2024 Chase and Jefferson and Brady is the OC and this team has at best one loss

I don't think we go undefeated.

we don’t lose 4 games though.
