I’ve concluded this is the 2024 LSU version and I’m riding with them. I see some good things and I also see the repeated errors. I’ve been a tiger fan too long and I’m not turning on them now. We could have what the FSU fans are experiencing. I wish fans would stop this fire Brian Kelly whining. BK is not going anywhere and LSU would look ridiculous. Stop it!
Geaux Tigers.
Geaux Tigers.

Jesus Christ. Is this supposed to be good?
It’s definitely not bad.
if we had 295 yards of offense and 17 points you’d be shitting your pants.

He likes to blitz too much. He over-relies on the blitz to mask talent issues and the results are -EV He should have already learned this, but in week 4 he was still trying and making the UCLA offense (which is dog shite) look good.
Would you rather sit back and be picked apart like last year? We don’t have the d-line depth nor talent to just rely on them.
We have had 5 sacks two games in a row and most have come from the d-line. OP is right, The second half adjustments have been there.
Every unit looks better coached and we have very little busts. Young guys are in and we are aggressive again and it’s paying off. We’re forcing turnovers - keep in mind we had an opportunity for 4 against usc.
I feel confident the defense will continue to improve as the young guns on the back end do.
Right now neither team is playing complimentary ball consistently and that’s been our major issue. Offense doesn’t put things away when they can and defense can give up a big play at any time.

You’d never know this guy is in year 3 at one of the top recruiting hot beds in country.
This is a phony meme that needs to be debunked and never repeated.
Kelly arrived in December 2021, when the '22 recruiting class was largely done, and with a roster that was nonexistent. He still managed to win the SEC East with some good rentals out of the portal and one great QB. His first "full" class was '23, this year's sophomores, and the idea that he could populate a decimated roster with game ready recruits is preposterous.
The 3 year idea is normally premised on starting with at least a coachable, though not elite, base of inherited players. Something more than 39 scholarships. Not the case here.

Defensive staff certainly been upgraded. They just need to get some better talent, which is not their fault.

Extremely true

Also, I’d like to know which geniuses on this board think they can call a better game against LSU than Eric Bieniemy. Eric Bieniemy has forgotten more about football than everyone on this board knows combined.

UCLA is one of the worst offenses in CFB

oh he is good
but we don't have the right players to be LSU elite

Watch Mascona’s take last evening. Shockingly he made a good set of comments about talent vs seniority. Based on second half adjustments and who is one the field, a rebuild is in process.

he makes adjustments at half
He does. I’d also support the idea of playing good defense in the first half.

Because of their talent. Bienemy schemed up some good plays, I thought.

I really like Baker and believe he will do well here.
However, UCLA averaged 289 yds per game, before yesterday...

I think the biggest thing we can all agree on is how sfp is a dumbass on every single TD board.

Kelly talked about it after games, we just kept making silly mistakes in the first half. Once we buckled down and executed the defense we dominated.

Blitzing is losing typically. It's a sign of desperation.
Gee, I wonder how good Alabama would have been if Saban would have known not to blitz.

The fact that the dline isnt lining up a yard off the line of scrimmage has been nice. Our D ends getting pressue has been a breath of fresh air and will be key moving forward.

Lol. The bitching of the rant. Last season it was “we need an attacking defense!”

Is there any proof to support what you’re saying?
