Yep. If you are ignorant of their stats, it becomes abundantly clear that Burrow is indeed leaps and bounds better than Ehlinger.

Tejas is probably more talented, yet less experienced than Miami and they are playing at home. I think we will win but it will be competitive

I disagree. Miami was obviously overrated. Texas has been getting steadily better every single year since Herman took over and they have a third year starting QB and the #3 recruiting class last year and it's at Austin and not a neutral site.

Miami was over rated?? You LSU fans define stupid which is why Alabama loves you in their conference. PERIOD

Miami scored two TD's in the opening fourth & 8:43 mark making the score in the early fourth LSU 33 Miami 17. It took Miami a whopping minute or two to cripple LSU twice. That level of deep accurate passing is second to none!

Right. You're biased. I get it. We all have biases to one extent or another.

Can you explain this?

So far the slate of O vs elite coaches looks pretty dirty:

Saban: 0-3
Mullen: 0-2
Jimbo: 0-1

What makes so many people believe this will be the year Coach O cleans up his act and secures victories against Herman and the listed Big 3?

Probably because this is definitely the best team he's had since taking over as coach Just a guess

Texas will be hyped and Herman will have them ready.

It could just as easily be similar to Wisconsin.

Ehlinger will take ill-advised risks at times.
when you don't know what you're talking about, don't talk about it.
He went through a streak of 10 games (308 passes) with no pick last year.

The guy you're responding to just feels like Ehlinger isn't careful with the ball and that Burrow is far better. That's what matters. Your stats are useless, buddy!

Great....I saw it with my own eyes...it has nothing to do with feels.

Burrow is far better

You are turning in RickD. I never said this. I said Burrow is older and more mature and less likely to make a mistake....but by all means, keep pulling shite out of thin air.

My apologies. You seemed to be going along with the other poster who said that Burrow is leaps and bounds better than Ehlinger.

Yes, Burrow is older. But again, there is nothing at all that points to Burrow being less likely to make a mistake. The stats bear out that he is actually a good bit more likely to make a mistake. Lower completion percentage and the same number of INTs with fewer attempts. I also watched Ehlinger play quite a few times last year. I still have no idea what basis you have for him being less careful with the ball than Burrow.

Would love to see one similarity: joe calls an audible with an obvious mismatch and we get a free touchdown

I see us outlasting them and pulling away late as well.

My heart tells me LSU will win, but my head says the teams are somewhat even, especially with UT having home field advantage. This will not be a beat down, both teams know this game will dictate their season.

Texas beat UGA and OU last season as well.
