The SEC sat there with their head up their arse and did nothing. Sankey did a taped depo, but he had to. Every player who goes to minicamp signs a participatory contract. So they are, in fact, "pro". A player who crosses the line onto an NFL practice facility is a pro under the SEC's own fricking BS policy. Sankey acknowledged he failed to understand the new SEC policy, along with the 5-for-5 rule. And this Gump cuck is suing LSU on the grounds of those said rules. The SEC carved out the minicamp loophole by design. I'm convinced of it now.
You now have Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, Texas, and Bama fans giddy on Twitter, wanting to replace LSU with Tulane. fricking mob mentality, and everyone is being disingenous, especially Sankey and the shite bag member school presidents. Even Herb Vincent played damage control on Twitter and said Sankey didn't acknowledge that he never read the 5-for-5 rule. It's in the fricking official court record, Herb. Finebaum said if the vote was today, LSU would be kicked out. This is a critical moment for the SEC, and they must be held accountable.

But the SEC didn’t rule Trinidad ineligible, only the NCAA did.
But to your point, even after the NCAA ruled him ineligbe twice the SEC kept their collective mouths shut and “honored” the local Mississippi judge’s TRO. That will be another interesting records file that LSU’s legal team will be subpoenaing for review, Sankey.

I'd imagine some of the other programs have smarter lawyers than apparently the sec has. I would think they know if they do this that lsu is going to file a very winnable damages suit, and then all schools could be in jeopardy with discovery.
Sankey should be removed immediately. He is acting like one of those women politicians when Trump turns on them...seriously. I guarantee you some of the programs have already began to think about this.

EXACTLY!!! All of this is just posturing at this point to see if LSU officials will blink. This isn’t going away now and it’s Sankey and the SEC members’ fault for painting themselves in a corner to feed their own egos.
Even if the SEC were to get a favorable ruling in an ALABAMA court, this would head to the appellate court. Billions of dollars on both sides isn’t going to simply be lost to appease egos. The massive NEGATIVE coverage of this, and the fact that all parties involved would have to open their confidential records up to full display, will ultimately make the SEC back down and come up with some bs excuse (“the SEC settles only for the betterment of the league partnership”) to safe face.

Can someone tell me just what NFL players LSU has played in a game for LSU? If the answer is NONE, then what the heck is LSU potentially being kicked out of the SEC for.....not that I care. In fact, if I had a vote, I would vote that LSU resigns from the SEC. It has turned into a really difficult league to play in unless you are Texas or Alabama.
