...were on this team.

Championship

The timing of their departure as underclass men sure hurts (but it made sense for them I know)

Mickey alone would be enough for his defense and rebounding. Some kids take bad advice. Could have easily played himself into a first round pick. But maybe he had family obligations to take care of and took the money rather than returning.

Mickey left in like early February last season. It seemed like it was a harder decision for Martin to make. Even though he was the flashier player.

He got more guaranteed money than Boston's first round pick. Get the hell outta here with your "bad advice" jibberish.

he has more than justified leaving, even if he never makes elite money. he could have returned to college and got hurt. He's set for a long time if he manages his money even half well.

Martin would be a Top 10 pick this year. Quite possible he'd be the first big taken

He would have received more money if he played like I believe he was capable of for another year. Second round picks are thrown around in the NBA. He could be playing for a title contender instead of riding pine or playing in the D league. He was a great defender and dominant shot blocker. He could have done better coming back. But no clue what his personal life is like so I can't say I blame him for leaving. But all things even I think he cut himself short.

Disagree. Ben is NBA ready based on his skill set. He can't improve his draft standing. Lottery picks should always enter draft ASAP.

And if he got hurt or didn't play "like you believed he was capable of"?

Play for free or get paid very well to play? Tough decision...

That's where the whole guaranteed money thing comes into play.

To help his game he needs private coaching from an actual coach. He has that in the league.
