I was there too.. senior in the student section.. you are correct about the real fans.. this was pre-mandatory "donations" , so a normal family could work it in their budget.

Wait a minute ForeverEllisHugh, my post seems like it’s not detailed and kinda incoherent but it happened ! I’m pretty sure it’s where I said it was but a couple of games I was more on sidelines across from press box close to corner of said seats. I have every stub to all games , concerts etc. I am not sure where they are but they are in my house or attic . I will look. It was before cell phones I’m pretty sure. Man I sound (not detailed & incoherent) and I’m not being a smart arse ! Oh I’m referring to my post under topic of blew whistle in 95

I did explorers and we were mostly the aid station over by the student section, what great times! I don't remember when I started but I am at least certain 1993 (graduated HS in '96) b/c we played Utah State that year and they selected our troop to be the ones who held the cords for the Utah State coaches b/c they could not afford to bring their equipment mangers on the trip with them! One guy who will remain nameless decided it would be a good idea to pull on Mike's whisker when we were checking him out on the sidelines... good grief what an dumba$$!
