re: I'm surprised some here are excited about a 14 point loss.

Yeah , I’m not targeting you necessarily.
I’m actually very supportive and excited about our coordinators. I do like many things I am seeing .
It’s the constant revisionist history, hypocrisy , lowering of expectations , excuses , lies , etc...that needs to be called out everytime.
Be optimistic without being a revisionist.

It's the rant. These idiots think coach O was a good hire.
Are you really surprised those same people are saying this was a good 14 point loss? And those goal post for O keep moving.
It's the Rant. We get to watch idiots like you and the OP be miserable for the next 10-15 years of Eaux's tenure as LSU head coach and enjoy every moment of it. It's a great time to be a Tiger fan.

It's amazing how far expectations have fallen for some with this new regime.
Oh no I had no expectations with Les, we actually have coordinators now as opposed to a-hole buddies and the product on the field is getting better.

I’m not normally happy about a loss, but I’m impressed we didn’t get beat at the line of scrimmage against them for once.

Heck, in the 2012 season we totally dominated them
Yeah, like this guy said. Just two months ago LSU dominated Bama.

He probably didn't. He was afraid LSU might win.
You don't think this poster is an LSU fan do you?

I hear you and I still don’t get hiring O to lose 3-4 games a season.. but it was actually nice to truly compete at the line of scrimmage against them.
Was truly a situation where we were literally a qb away from victory.

Abosolutely....no excuses for the BS we've seen at times to this point.
Now, with that said.... if we don't win out...I would consider this season a bust.

You start a thread asking a question and then totally ignore every response and type more shite that is dumber than your first bullshite post.

This is some crap you would read over on the Tulane message board when they lose a "close " one.
I can certainly understand the hatred of LSU. I have heard a lot of Green Wave fans don't like the Tigers.

I'm not even talking about Bama specifically. Just an overall sense of optimism moving forward in this season. There are still a few goals to play for.
Are some of you living in a different universe than the rest of us? Some years under Miles the Bama loss was our first loss and people were jumping ship and moaning and complaining about the season being done. Now with 3 losses (and a couple of them record breaking losses) you feel optimistic and we still have goals? You know what O told the team after last season that our goal was this year? The playoffs. I don't know if some of you are just trying to convince yourself that it's all turning around and it's all gonna be alright but we are in no way better than at anytime under Miles and it could be said we are in some points worse and heading in the wrong direction. But if it makes you feel better, since after all, we're stuck with the guy- have a ball.

I’m not at all excited about the loss but there has clearly been improvement offensively. I was expecting to be shut down and man handled offensively like we have been for years with all the youth on the line. I expected the defense to play well and they did. If you can’t see the difference in the offense and be encouraged by it I don’t know what to say. Receivers were open. OL made holes for the RBs. Play calling was much different than years past and gave Bama trouble. I’ve been an Etling supporter but the loss was on him last night b/w the interception and missing too many open receivers.

Mo Jeaux:
His expense account exceeds your annual income. His annual income is bigger than your projected lifetime earnings.
He’s had theee gigs as head coach of a Power 5 School. Before that, he was a position coach at some of the most prominent programs in the country. He received the recommendations, unsolicited, of two of the best coaches in the game: Jimmy Johnson and Pete Carroll. In short, he’s at the top of his profession. Oh, and his wife is better looking than yours and his kids are smarter.
Take a hike.

You're not a Tiger fan. You're just trying very hard to prove you're right. You're a fan of your own opinion. 3 losses a 2 td loss to Bama and dropped out of the polls- but keep pumping your own inflated ego bro.

LSU Bama has provided some great games and heartbreaking losses for a decade now . Last night was really typical in many ways .
Although partly true, we didn't even get 200 yards of total offense the last two years against them and didn't stop the run in either game. So it felt like we had a pulse on offense and like we wouldn't collapse on D in the 4th quarter.

Not even that long ago. In Miles' last full season we went into the Bama game undefeated.
The thought then was "any idiot can do that" with LSU's resouces.
Now look at us.

You're only as good as your last outing. Good feelings and all that crap can go away real quick.
