I just sent you the reasons why it's false. 2 wins has zero to do with being motivated, and even being motivated doesn't always end in a W. We've lost 6 SEC games by 7 or fewer points. Not having your 2 best players plays a major factor in not getting the wins. There has been moments of lack of motivation, but the same can be said with other teams(Wade and NC State losing by 30 last night). LSU has responded well this year compared to other years. So by you saying that, I'm not sure what games you're watching. We were down 18 last game and made a hell of a comeback and fell short. Guys are diving all on the floor and everything.

Have a little perspective.

Dale Brown had teams who were outmatched and undermanned athletically due to injuries, etc., some years, but they would pull off a lot of Ws on memorable hustle and heart. So I do think being motivated has something to do with the W/L record. Brown wasn't the best Xs and Os guy, but he memorably motivated his teams and the fans. I just don't see any of that with McMahon.

Although we have played some decent games at times, we simply don't know how to win under McMahon. And for any decent games we have had this year, we also got blown out at home by bad teams like South Carolina and Miss. State and that's a big problem when you can't pull off any upsets otherwise.

I have a good feeling this nightmare is almost over brother. The writing is on the wall. People who want to say LSU doesn't have money for basketball because of "donor fatigue" are simply parroting a line that they heard "Baldhead" say on his show. The truth is, football, basketball and baseball NIL donors have very little crossover. So yes, while LSU went and spent a shite ton on football, the fact of the matter is that there are still basketball only donors out there who will be more than happy to send McMahon on his way if/when given the opportunity. It's even worse because of what happened after last year's season. Everyone in the world knew certain people around LSU wanted Wade back. But, Woodward being the bitch he is wasn't going to let that happen and now our program is continuing to suffer while that fat frick ruined his legacy by once again messing up 2 of the most important hires an athletic department can make. That really soured a bunch of people on Woodward. That was the start of his time at LSU coming to an end.

Well said.

It wasn't a well rounded team, and we didn't have a good point guard.

It is simply because for some reason he doesn’t train them to play with the intensity, necessary to win games. Watch Kim Mulkey’s teams and watch her coach them. They play hard the whole game. And if they don’t their arse is on the bench.
Just watch the teams that are at the top and see how hard they play. You should be able to see what I mean when you watch LSU.

CMM simply can’t make adjustments when the opposing coach makes his adjustments

Out of the previous 6 coaches at Murray State McMahon was 4th in winning %. He was at a school that dominated its conf for the last near 40 years and was a barely avg coach there.

Three of the prior four LSU coaches before Wade won SEC titles, two of them with multiple championships and two went to the Final Four yet some of you people are begging for him to return.

That’s a non sequitur and it’s incorrect. 2 of them didn’t win multiple championships. Wade had a higher winning% than all of them by a considerable margin, had no losing seasons and made the tourney much more consistently.

Come on guys yall are being way too hard on Tigersbb. I mean according to him Dedan Thomas is at least as good as Magic Johnson and Reed is easily the equivalent of James Worthy. Would u have expected the Showtime Lakers to win without Magic and Worthy?????

He obviously doesn’t care about the program he just wants his dream of McMahon magically turning into a good coach to be true.

Now we have a coach who struggles to win 3 conference games per year and “some of you people” continually make excuses for him.

See how easy that was?

My bad, I see you said multiple for further back than the last 3. Still Wade was #1 in winning%, #1 in percentage of seasons getting into the dance, had the best 5 year start to any career by far, #2nd best 5 year stretch period, won an SEC title, never had a losing season and did all that in less than half the time it took for Dale and Brady to achieve what they did.
