Bama fans? What did you do, strike up a conversation with a bell hop? I run with several and just attended a huge 70th for a friend whose wife entire's family and half of Harris co are Bama fans. They had AU and UGA on and the LSU game was never mentioned much less a single play. Alabama fans expect excellence and give credit. If any ever remember a play it will be Auburn. You are FOS.

If you had been able to see “SEC Inside - LSU vs Alabama” on the SEC Network, you’d have seen that the ball was definitely not tipped. The crew for that show had their camera placed further upfield from the CBS camera, and at ground level. It was in a perfect place to show the ball missing Diggs’ fingers. The wobble you noticed was simply because the spiral was not very tight. and the ball was wobbling throughout its flight.

That was a first down play that resulted in 13 yards in the middle of the game. Why do they keep harping on this play?

Don't recall any ruling by the Refs about being pushed out and having to re-establish. That was CBS crew calling it and they got it wrong. The ball was tipped, all Moss had to do was get the left foot down for re-establishment and reception. No penalty, no call. The Refs didn't get anything wrong. Danielson got it wrong along with the expert analyst.
