A "chance" is not "absolute".
Even with the INT, LSU still probably loses that game. Nothing was "absolute".

Don't think that's true. You still have to re-establish yourself in bounds. The issue was (the way I understand it) whether he was pushed out of bounds. I guess they said he was. Either way even if he wasn't pushed out of bounds he did re-establish himself in bounds AND the ball was tipped by the defender b/f Moss caught it. Therefore the catch was legit. Re-establishing himself in bounds is a MUST! One of the best catches in the history of LSU football.

Dude. Tell them the call on the field was "confirmed" by the officials in replay, not "the call on the field stands". They looked at it and saw that moss was forced out of bounds by the Bama db, which gives moss the opportunity to re-establish himself inbounds and make the catch. That's the rule man, too bad if they dont understand the rules of the game. It doesn't matter if they don't like the rule lol. The officials ruled that he was forced out, which the Bama player did shove moss with one arm no matter how hard he shoved him, which you can't distinguish anyway by video, and moss re-established himself inbounds and made a hell of a catch. Lol, screw them. They can't stand that LSU punked them in their stadium with the whole nation watching, the president in attendance, and everything on the line. Too damn bad. They better get used to it bc O and co are going to be besting bama pretty frequently from here on out. Boo fricking hoo. Those bama tears taste great, lol. Geaux Tigers.

True, but you could clearly tell from the replay that the bama defender did extend his arm and make forcible contact with moss. Now, how hard he shoved him isn't up for debate, as you can't discern that from a video replay anyway. Moss, then, re-established himself inbounds and made an awesome catch. It's the rules of the game, and it should be that way. Rules apparently don't apply to bama or their fans, lol.
If the ball was tipped, which it seems to have been, that's even more reason why the call on the field was correct and confirmed after review.
There's a reason that they ruled that the call on the field was "confirmed" and didn't simply "stand". They saw what LSU fans saw and made the proper call. Bama fans have different eyesight than everybody else I guess. What a bunch of pussies. They just can't stand that they lost the game is what it all boils down to. Geaux Tigers.

I keep hearing this narrative, but it doesn't seem to match reality. They did get stomped by Clemson in the NCG last year and LSU did beat them at home, but it's a little premature to start labeling Bama with "tDecline".

Uh, you can't say that LSU probably loses that game though either. Nobody knows what would have happened. That definitely would have been a huge momentum swing in our favor though, that's for sure.
The problem LSU fans and the players/coaches had with the whole pp7 interception that was called incomplete, even after review clearly showed he was inbounds, was that it took an opportunity to possibly change the outcome of the game away. Whatever chance that the opportunity possibly had of changing the outcome, and the likelihood of it occurring is irrelevant...even if it was just a 1% chance, though it was much more possible than that, it was the simple fact that it was robbed from us on a blatant and obviously biased call and subsequent review. There's just no other way to spin it, lol. They screwed LSU, and it was one of the worst calls I've ever seen, period. I agree that nobody knows and there's no way to tell what would have occurred, but simply robbing LSU of that opportunity is enough by itself to be absolutely irate about, and rightfully so. It was bullshite and absolutely could have changed the outcome of the game.
fricking pisses me off to this day. Can you tell? Lol.

The problem with your statement is that you used "absolute" and "chance" to describe the same thing. Those are incompatible terms. Absolute means that it was 100%, while chance means less than 100%.
LSU was losing at them time, and was having a hard time driving the ball, therefore I put the probability at less than 50%. It doesn't matter, the chance was less than 100% and therefore not absolute. If called an INT, it may not have changed the final score at all, therefore you cannot say that it was an "absolute" difference in the game.
That's reality, Tiger.

Oh my GOD. It's a fricking figure of speech man.
quote:Ok, so if you're gonna pick my use of using a figure of speech word "absolutely", then I'm gonna give you the same treatment. You don't know that LSU "probably" loses it. You can't say that, because you don't know. We were moving the ball on them the entire game. Granted, not like we were two weeks ago, but we were moving the ball on them nonetheless.

Yep. And he wasn't pushed out. I don't care. Screw Bama! Between the refs screwing us over for years, I really don't care. They lost. LSU WON!!!!
