Yeah it really sucked having Jayden at QB last year
3 loss average over 2 years. Only wins worth talking about over those 2 years are Missouri and Alabama. 2 decent wins in 2 years of starting.

people forget that we only beat 2 teams with a winning record last year....and one was 7-6 A&M. JD is good, but the defenses that we played last year were god awful.

In the pros yes. You need a qb that can run a little bit. If Nuss would just run when it's wide open this Offense would be lethal.

lol, yall will really disparage Daniels to prop up Nuss. Nothing is off limits, huh?

Game has changed quite a bit

Having a QB who can run, and not just scramble, adds another dimension.

It’s just that running QB’s aren’t known for their decision making and accuracy. That’s why JD was so special.

did he not shite the bed against Florida State last year? Did he not have 2 chances against OM to put the game away, and was stopped?

He had some great games, but he also had some clunkers over the last 2 years at LSU. I don't watch the NFL so I'm not commenting on that...I'm just commenting at LSU.

We already know Nuss isn't the color you like. At least you aren't bashing him, yet, in this thread. Maybe you got a few warnings for all the bashing you have done against him this year.

Nope not at all but there’s a large portion of the fan base who thinks a dual threat QB is essential to winning championships and that’s just false. Yes they win Heismans but not championships. Just like they think Bryce Underwood is going to come in and win a championship as a true freshman. Going to be a lot of disappointment on this site.

Drew ran the option in high school. That’s why he ended up at Purdue. He was a good athlete. He chose not to run.

Did you happen to catch that Vandy-Bama game yesterday. The days of the statuesque pocket QB are over.

The best QB in the NFL can beat you with their legs as well as their arm

Mahomes
Josh Allen
Lamar
Jayden
Hurts
Etc

Is Daniels not the color you like? Where do you get this shite from?

Of course I haven’t been warned. I haven’t done anything wrong

He had arguably of the best offensive seasons by a QB in SEC history. His Florida performance alone was Heisman worthy. He wasn’t good last year he was fricking elite. If you can’t see it then you’re a fool and no one should take anything you say seriously.

That depends on what you call a duel threat QB. Just about every QB who’s ever played can run if necessary but some here seem to have changed the definitions to mean you’re either Lamar Jackson or you’re Drew Bledsoe when in reality those two types are very, very small groups throughout football history.

I love Nuss but if he makes the throw to Aaron Anderson on 3rd down in the 4th quarter, LSU wins that game.

True and if the D doesn't let USC march down the field we win. If the OL gets any form of run blocking we win. If BK makes better game decisions like when to go on 4th we win.

Nuss still has deficiencies in his game, but he also puts the team in a position to win.

As for any JD naysayers that are popping up in this thread, if the 2023 D has a pulse, LSU has another NC. Period!

To me Cam Ward looks like the most dangerous QB this year
