Baseball, obviously

I don’t watch college basketball and could care less if the LSU team wins or loses

Basketball if Will Wade was still at LSU, but since Wade is gone and we have McLoser, Baseball and another CWS all the way.

Baseball and use all NIL money from basketball for real sports, like gymnastics.

It’d be nice to see MBB win one but i personally wouldn’t trade a CWS for it. But I’ve never really cared about basketball at any level and was coming of age in the 90’s so baseball is where my passion is.

Fair enough - folks weaned in the Skip era and after have a different perspective on LSU baseball - I get that.

but I'd absolutely make the tradeoff for a hoops title. But that's a nonsensical hypothetical - hopefully we win a hoops title one year and we can both be happy.

Basketball for a few reasons:

1) would be great to finally hang a bannner and get that monkey off the back

2) would likely lead to a lot more stability around the program

3) we've all seen the Tigahs win it all at Omaha (which is so glorious), so I would love to have that experience in March Madness

I tend to agree...but that's the only reason.

One of the reasons LSU profited $1 million in Men's basketball and lost nearly $2 million in baseball last year is because tons of people watch the March Madness tourney and there is tons of money tied to basketball TV contracts. As much as I love college baseball, way more people care about basketball nationally and so LSU can profit even when the basketball team sucks due to LSU getting a share of the SEC's cut of TV contract revenue, etc.
