Just quit now before this gets worse. You’re running your hardest, but you’ve been lapped. Time to walk a little and save some of that effort for a race you can win.

I think the buyout was a good move and calculated by Woodward. If you're going to get that big fish, they have to be sure they're going to be treated with class and respect ahead of time. It's almost a 100% guarantee that the next coach would never act anywhere close to what Orgeron has. That has to be comforting to know as a coach that if Ed got his full buyout, I'm definitely getting mine.

Why does this board not think the man should get all of what is contractually owed to him?

Because one party to that contract hasn't really satisfied his obligations under the contract, at least in spirit.

because if it goes to court, there's "exploration" and that is not beneficial to LSU in any way.

For cause. When he tells a caller there is a fishing hole where we bury people line you it doesn't really reflect very well on the University that he represents don't you think?

I wouldn't trust him at all.

His statement about his elderly mother only being concerned with money when he informed her of his firing tells you everything you need to know about that family.

Tbf O has thrown at least one coach or player under the bus every year he's been here.
