ForeverLSU02, when was the last time you went to a game? I'm married and my husband comes with me and we are surrounded by families, children, and every manner of fans...what a retro prejudiced view of fans of women's sports,..but hey, my post wasn't addressed to the small-minded...& I forgot about the baseball game, we'll be there on Wednesday night, Go Tigers!

I'm not talking about women's sports. I'm talking about women's basketball, which isn't interesting to watch.

Because I enjoy good basketball and dislike bad basketball I'm small minded?

FWIW, real men like the guys on the LSU men's basketball team, LSU athletes like Tremaine Johnson, Bradie James, Big Baby, Ricky Jean-Francois,etc. have all attended/attend Lady Tiger basketball games as has Les Miles with his entire family. So, for all you alleged macho guys...don't think you can out-macho some of these guys!

Serious question about womens' bball.....

Do they call an official timeout if one of the players starts crying/having a baby, etc.?

Sorry, I'll be at the baseball game as well. I'm a girl and I have to say that guys in tight pants beats ladies in baggy shorts anyday.

In all seriousness, kudos to the lady tigers. I hope they go all the way, but basketball is not my thing.

ForeverLSU...no you're small-minded for making assumptions about the make-up of Lady Tiger fans without any factual basis...as to your opinion about women's basketball...hey, different strokes for different folks, but supporting LSU and its athletes should be on everyone's list of things to do.

Actually it is against NCAA rules to let students in for free to an NCAA tourney event. From what I understand Les, Trent, and Paul all donated the money to buy the student tickets so that they could get in for free.

And Joe Alleva, too.

Chics on the team just little to hard to look at...maybe if they got a hotter team.

This IMO is not a good argument against small mindedness. We all now why college age dudes go to watch those young ladies play and most of that happens after the game ......And LSU pays Les Miles 3 mil a year if Joe Alleva tells him to go to a women's basketball game he sure as hell better go I mean if my boss tells me to do something I do it.

I was making a joke, but I wasn't making an assumption whatsoever. I have been to many women's basketball games and I stand by what I said. I whole heartedly support all LSU sports and that will never change. But I have, on a factual basis, experienced many women's games and seen for myself the majority of the followers of women's basketball. We all have our own opinions though

No surprise that some of you d-bags can't keep your mouths shut.

Go see us whip Harvard on Wednesday, fer crying out loud. Go support the second best team at LSU these past 5-6 years tomorrow night.

Bad basketball=walking, dunking, posturing, being tall.

Good basketball=defense, shot selection, timing, teamwork.

That's a matter of opinion, no matter how resolutely some of you state as fact that women's basketball is boring (no way) or bad (pejorative, at best).

I have to follow them from up here, but I would give anything to be there. I would've come down last year when we had early spring break, but I was having radiation for breast cancer all month long and I couldn't.

Bricked layups = Bad BAsketball and it happens all too often in women's game

Also why is dunking bad basketball? Also being tall is bad? Is basketball played by short people just naturally better?

It's called athleticism. At least men's basketball players can hit jump shots.
