Crazy that half of Orgeron's losses came in his last two seasons.

Interesting that those losses started when Woody was hired, and then Woody hired Pellini.

Hmmmm? What an interesting situation. Could there be a connection?

Pu$$y is Undefeated... Coach O is great for a RUN, but after he wins; it takes a few years to get the fire back, and his ego in check. It's about time for him to get back into it; the dude is coaching gold...

It depends on what metrics you are using. Wins,Win %, NC,SEC titles, Longevity. Orgeron is difficult. Yes he won a NC and had arguably the greatest team in the history of college football but he wasn't a great coach and had no longevity. Kinda like Arnsbarger. I believe he would have won a natty had he stayed. Mclendon was a legend at LSU as he competed with and beat the best with less talent. What he could have done in the NIL/Portal era.

Saban
Miles
Mclendon
Arnsbarger
Dietzel
Orgeron

add Ryan Clark too. Good on O for not bowing down to BLM. Black lesbians who took black money and incited riots in black neighborhoods terrorizing black businesses. LOL @ BLM and the scam it was. None of those other coaches had a racist piece of shite on campus blackballing the coach.

Those fat BLM lesbians are living large though.

I gave my list on page one similar to this one. I could live with this ranking. Good job!

Yes because he won a national championship.
I would put the four national championship coaches plus Charley Mac.

You guys are retarded. O is absolute top 5 and put together greatest team of all time. No one gives an F about Dietzel, Mac, or Arnsbarger. This is just an old head take driven by nostalgia, but they aren’t close to what O did. And no objective ranking would have any of them higher than O.

Saban - 48-16 (75%); 3-2 Bowls; 1 NC
Dietzel - 46-24-3 (66%); 2-1 bowl; 1 NC
Mac - 137-59-7 (70%); 7-6 bowl record
Miles 114-34 (77%) 8-4 bowl record; 1 NC
Arnsbarger - 26-8-2 (76%); 0-3 bowl record

Orgeron - 51-20 (72%); 5-1 post season; 1 NC

I'd put O ahead of Arnsbarger.

I think my top five would also have O ahead of Arnsbarger, but I think Miles would be second because he took us to 12 bowl games, won one NC and has the highest winning percentage of all the coaches.

Miles also has an argument for being No. 1, if you look at the entirety of his work.
