If you had a time machine, would you prevent LSU from hiring coach O?

And for fun, let’s say either Aranda, Fuentes, or Fleck is the hire, but you can’t guarantee which one

It’s a tough call. He greatly set the program back, but if you do that you take away the possibility of something like 2019 happening, but not necessarily

I truly don’t know what I would do

Gotta give O a lot of credit for 2019-he just coasted after the championship

No, 2019 was worth where we are now. And we now have Brian Kelly so I’ll take it

But not hiring O doesn’t guarantee a national title between 2016-2022 doesn’t happen

Yes with a good coach we would have been in playoffs every year with 1 or 2 championships

Very true, I do believe O had a big part in getting Burrow. A national championship is just such a precious thing that you have to stay with O in that scenario. Just my 2 cents.

No. He brought us Joe, who led the greatest college football team of all time.

Now, O definitely mailed it in after 2019. But, for 2019, I wouldn't trade anything.

Basically this is the option

Taking two mediocre seasons, one good season, one phenomenal all time season, and two all time horrific seasons

OR

The unknown

Of course not. 19’ was as good as it gets in the college football arena. Everyone was watching the show. Everyone knew this was something special. Must see TV at its finest. People will be talking bout that team for years .
Thanks again O.

You wouldn’t even trade it for two 2019s?

No. I still want 2019. Not changing anything that affects that year. He is part of one of the best seasons. I’m still thankful for that

Nope.

And I was wholeheartedly against hiring O.

2019 wasn’t just a Natty, it was quite possibly the greatest CFB team of all time.

I’m no fan of O, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I can’t decide, if Kelly turns this around, it makes the answer easy

But this program is an absolute disaster right now, and I’m uneasy about the rebuild. If the rebuild doesn’t happen, I think a lot of people would have a different opinion in a few years

It wasn’t just two horrific seasons. The program completely bottomed out and everybody left. Remember the Texas Bowl? We couldn’t even field a complete team

We wouldn’t have had 2019.

Anyone who says no is a fricking moron
