The key was when he avoided the sacks he was keeping his eyes downfield and looking to pass, which is where all of their big plays came from.
Watching the Bama game, I’m not sure Dart has that in him.

It's true that Dart doesn't look downfield when pressured. He did it all last season and hasn't rid himself of the habit. I can't blame him, though, as he's been running for his life (sometimes well) for most of his time under center in Oxford. Don't forget he is an effective runner too. He ran for 600+ yards last season.

I like Pate, but not sure he watched the LSU-Arkansas game. LSU was going after KJ all game just didn't have a ton of success because KJ is a playmaker. Still had 4 sacks.
I think the point is that, if you give Dart time, he can make you pay in the passing game. That's not a crazy proposition given how our secondary has looked.
