The regrettable losses look less & less impactful

Is the Big10 stacked with pitching bc Costello is hitting just .158 in conference

Ouch. Well to be fair when you originally made the post I would have probably picked Costello

It's more work than is worth doing, but including some of the commits we've cut loose in recent years would also be interesting.
Stunner Gonzales at UCSB
Matt Champion at LMU
Danny Arambula at Utah
There's another guy at LMU whose name I'm blanking on.

Maybe Ryan. This team could use some defense

That's it.
I looked up Vaughn Neckar when we played Oklahoma. Looks like he only spent the fall there and transferred to D2 Point Loma Nazarene.

Hope he doesn’t have a Sam Dutton type performance when he pitches against the Tigers.
Y’all do know LSU played OU 3 weekends ago and Cam looked horrible and LSU beat OU that game right?
Also i apologize in advance if your comment was sarcasm. I can’t tell who is serious or joking on here with comments like that.

You replied to a comment that was posted before that series.

If Brady Neal was here last year we don’t win a National Title. Hernandez was a big reason why we won. He was solid defensively and a clutch hitter. I don’t want the 2025 version of Brady Neal near the 2025 team over Hernandez.

This is all mostly hypothetical

Wonder if Larson is regretting leaving or at least not going to a lesser program. Left one platoon situation for another at Texas.

Costello is my only real wish. I'll take a left handed 2023 version of Jared Jones all day. Better than the current option at 1B in Yorke.
Neal is kind of a wash because he would've wasted a roster spot last season. Like, there is no realistic path to him actually being here. Also, he's like Sam Dutton to me. I do not believe he is as good as the numbers indicate
Don't think Ryan has an actual spot on this team. He's been pretty bad defensively, and I don't believe the bat translates to the SEC like it has the ACC.
I'm a huge Larson guy, but again, unless he learned how to play first base, he didn't have a spot on this team. Maybe DH against RHP? But Jay like Bide and Serna too much to leave them out of the lineup. I don't know if Larson's impact on the program would be bigger than Bide/Serna getting consistent at bats, over the long haul.
Holt/Roellig/Paul/Ruddell are all zeros IMO. None were going to make an impact here. Maybe if Roellig hung around for a few years.

Based on the stats posted Brady Neal would be the bat we’d want back. Honest question, has Alabama played a bunch of bottom end pitchers or has he done this against top pitching staffs?

I just think unless Larson played first base.. which def could happen on this squad.. he’s not replacing anyone in that outfield still

Brady Neal is playing in the OF now. He’s not catching. Lol

Here's the rub, LSU fans don't like any of our catchers while there here but they love them after they leave. This includes Brady Neal. He got sh@t on by our fan base more than Arambide is getting this season.
