If only we hadn't wasted those drives on Flynn JR could've won that game by double digits.

Normally I'd say Tommy Hodson, but since Crowton would make our QB run the option, I'll say Herb Tyler. Not our best QB, but the best QB to run our system right now.

Honorable Mentions:
Glenn Dorsey
Josh Reed
Matt Mauck
Andrew Whitworth
Kevin Faulk

Yea but Hodson would punch Crowton in the throat and take over as offensive cooridinator while still playing quarterback.

I'd pick JR if I wanted to be ahead in the UF game in the 3rd quarter and then have Jamarcus throw an interception that leads to Florida scoring a game winning touchdown, or to be on Floridas 1yd line down 4 pts and have Jamarcus fumble. Jamarcus may have been the most athleticly gifted quarterback in LSU history, but he made mistakes in the most critcal moments. It take Matt Flynn, he ran our offense to perfection in 07

He also scored TD at the most critical moments in games as well. For fricks sake people, the man had all of 2-3 marginally bad games in 2 years as a starter and pretty much every other game he either blew out the other team by 3-4 tds or was leading us to epic last minute victories... None of his bad games by the way were as bad as what we have seen the last two years.

Dude, did you watch that game? The great Saban only put him with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter when we were down by 10. JR lead us to 2 4th quarter TD drives (12-15 128 2 tds in less than 1 quarter) and it would have gone down as one of the most clutch performances off the bench for LSU ever if, again, the great Saban defense doesn't give up a hail mary on the last play of the game.
