So many good answers... If I could add one a game, LF7 would have been great fun against the gators. The gator defensive backfield would have required triage if Fournette had the same runs CEH had... and don't get me wrong CEH was awesome.

Tyrann Mathieu

Arguably the best footballer to ever put on an LSU uniform.

Given what this team has shown, how anyone could name any player other than Tyrann Mathieu is beyond me. Affected games as much as any single LSU player in any era - offense, defense, ST, coaching, WHATEVER. Tell me this team couldn't use a ball hawking, shape-shifting defender that can play anywhere on the back end, not to mention the best PR in school history (just check the PR vs Arky and the two vs UGA in the SECCG)? For my money, his 2011 is the greatest individual season-long effort in LSU football history.

Badger for turnovers. With LSUs offense, turnovers would be too much to overcome for any team.

There are 40 better answers.

What does this team need? A pass rush. And we have a good edge rusher. What we need is someone like Glen Dorsey who can get in the backfield from the interior. If you put Devin White out there you would have to take a mid-round NFL draft choice off the field. You gain a little, but not much. Put Glen Dorsey out there, and Tua is running for his life under a four man rush. THAT’s a game changer.

ETA: If I could not add an interior pass rusher I would add Patrick Peterson. That would allow us to walk out there and man up with Bama with PP7, Stingley and Fulton. I like those odds. PP7 would absolutely erase Jeudy. I like Fulton and Stingley against their 2 and 3.

Bradie James

All would be incredible additions in addition to obvious ones like Mathieu Dorsey and others.

Glenn Dorsey, Kyle Williams, Chad Lavalais, Marcus Spears, Marquise Hill (RIP), Booger, DW40, Bradie James. There’s a lot of front 7 guys I would take on this team in a fricking heartbeat. The secondary really doesn’t need a whole lot of help, y’all saw what happened when we’re starting rushing the quarterback in the second half against Florida, that’s what we need the most help with. Getting to the quarterback.

There’s nothing wrong with the secondary or special teams.

But Casanova would be awesome.

I get all the honey badger picks.

But why not PP7?

Thats 2 lockdown corners and you got a better return man with him. Thats just an outsider looking in.

We already have two of the best corners in the country. We don’t need help in the secondary. We need help in the front seven getting to the quarterback.

And frankly, we need help the most in regards to play calling. Because for some reason it’s like pulling teeth to get Aranda to send blitz and stunt packages at the quarterback.
