Devin White and move Divinity back down to end full time. This defense does not have a leader and LB may be our weakest position group.

Or maybe a healthy, motivated Arden Key or Marcus Spears. We are one injury away from having absolutely no pass rush.

Leonard Fournette. Imagine if he was there, and bought in... option 1 is to focus on stopping the run, and ignore Burrow as he puts 400+ through the air each time. Option 2 is to play the pass to slow Burrow down (like Florida did), and watch Fournette average 30 yds a carry. Forget the defensive needs, this team would score 70 a game.

I think GUICE would be better imo. He reads the zone blocks better and catches the football better

But I’m going with the honey badger, creates turnovers, plays everywhere, would be huge to have a slot corner that can ball out RN plus we’re thin in the secondary

I gotta say honeybadger.
I feel like every game is a few made plays away from being a blow out. In Texas I remember there being a few plays where the defense went after the ball, missed and it went for points.
Same with 2 scoring drives for Florida in the first half, 2 times it could've been picked but was dropped so kept it closer.
I dont think there are any major holes in the defense. But a playmaker like TM7, making those "just missed" type plays would be huge on a team like this.

I can see two viable options. Get a player to shore up the secondary and get some pressure, like Matthieu, or get a pure pass rusher like Hunter. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. Getting an offensive player for practical purposes is stupid. Getting an offensive player for fun however...

The HB seems like the easy answer, but it’s the correct answer. We’ve have more turnovers and a few punts returned for touchdowns by now.

I think our secondary would start to need a lot less help if we were consistently getting QB pressure, but that’s just my opinion.

Crazy to think that Devin White could actually be on this team right now!

My pick would still be Leonard Fournette.

Tyrann Mathieu

The guy is just unbelievable. Nothing against anyone else listed, we've had some great talent come through LSU but I've never seen anyone play like Mathieu.

It was like there were 2 of him out there. One second he's at the other end of the field, next second, he's at the other end with the ball in his hand scoring a defensive TD.

He just has amazing skills. You can coach kids but the stuff he did at LSU is just how he played. "I'm taking that ball. I don't care if you have it, I'm telling you, I'M TAKING IT. IT'S MINE"

He just has skills that are almost instinctive. The guy was incredible to watch. I was at the Oregon game when we kicked/punted to DeAnthony Thomas and before I knew it, he caught the ball, Mathieu was right there, popped the ball out, grabbed it, ran into the end zone that was about 10 yards away. Scored a TD. Happened right in front of me. I couldn't believe what I just saw.

I have to go with Mathieu. Again, no disrespect intended to any other player listed, we've had some insane talent here.

I'm gonna go with someone I haven't already seen on the list if that's okay, and this is purely from an I think it would be fun to see perspective.

Trindon Holliday.

He wouldnt be able to play with these rules. Would be suspended for the season for targeting. What would put this team over the top is a dominant edge rusher but we havent had one in so long. Hunter wasnt dominant when he was here. We dont need skill position talent, so definitely not Fournette. Guice would be the back to take anyway, he was better overall. Tyrann Mathieu for the swagger and playmaking ability or Glenn Dorsey makes the most sense.
