Having Josh Reed out there would definitely make a difference. He'd be a game changer for sure.

We lost to AJ McCarron with quite possibly our nastiest defense ever on 1/9/12. So I don’t think adding a DB, even Matthieu, would matter against what is a night and day different offense than that night. It has to be an offensive player. Either a RB because we don’t have a special one on this team or a QB to keep up with Tua. But seeing how we’ve had a great RB every time we’ve faced them in the last 7 years my answer is either Jamarcus or Rohan.

Mo is 1A at corner, but PP7 is #1 (sophomore year). LF7 was most disappointing against Alabama. I would take Dorsey for this game, we need a shite wrecker in the middle.

Mingo for defense/pass rush. Leonard fournette on offense, well, because he's the best rb ever to play at LSU.

Faulk, punt returner/ RB. The kick returning alone would be a huge upgrade.

We don’t have a playmaker in the pass rush or the return game. I know 1 player who was a game changer at both & also a really good cover guy.
TM7.
I know he’s always the answer to everything, but seriously. My first thought was Key since they start a freshman at LT but TM could rush, cover, set the edge in the run & return kicks.
Also, tough to pick any of our old 3 tech DT’s considering we play a 3-4 now. Not sure Brockers, Bennie Logan or Dorsey would be in the same position to make plays. Hunter & Mingo would transition well though.

Take your pick of interior DL to give us depth. Lavalais, Kyle Williams, Dorsey. Give us something on the DL to keep their OL from getting to the second level.

Kevin Faulk and its not close for me. That dude doesn't get near enough love around here when these questions are posed. If LSU could force the big Bama LBs to cover a back out of the backfield like Faulk... OH MY! I love CEH and Brosette, but Faulk was great and the exact style of running back that would give Saban headaches because he could do everything, including return punts and kicks.

Gotta go offense. Jamarcus.

How is Leonard Fournette not all over this thread?
With a passing game, it's a totally different situation.
And we don't need more defense. We have enough defense to loan out half to Ole Miss this weekend.
