If we win out, do we make the big dance?

Tall order. Team probably can’t do it with their inconsistencies. Favorable schedule going forward. Would end season on a heater. If we don’t lose again in regular season, are we in contention for one of the last at large spots?

That would mean we'd win the SECCG, so yes...obviously we would.

Kentucky on Wednesday night appears to be by far their toughest regular season game. If the Tigers win that one and sweep the remaining five, we might be into bubble talk at that point.

We could go 5-1 or 1-5

Vandy and Arkansas are still gonna be tough road games like usual

We’d almost certainly still need to win the SECT if we went 5-1

No. It’s SEC championship or bust at this point

Just spitballing, but I wonder if 5-1 (with the right 1 loss), and a run in the SEC tourney would be enough to pull an 11 seed/play-in game...

Say we lose to Kentucky, win the rest, go 10-8 in conference.
We'd likely be in the 8-9 matchup, against on of A&M, Ole Miss, Miss St. Those are winnable as we've already beaten A&M and Ole Miss, and would have beaten State along the way.
Next round is #1, so pencil in Bama. I just don't think we can run with them all game, but let's say we take them.
That would be a big W, and you're probably facing the 4-5 winner. That's Fla/Kentucky/SC, my best guess. Again, winnable... we beat SC on the road, took Fla to the buzzer on the road.

End up getting slapped by Auburn/Tennessee in the finals.

Is that enough?

Not happening. But there's life in this team.

Be happy with the win tonight. That’s the pinnacle for this team and program

Unfortunately probably not even though it would be an amazing feat. That would be nearly identical to what A&M did 2 years ago. They were around .500 overall at this point in the season and right after they lost to us they went on an insane tear all the way to the SEC Tournament championship game but got snubbed from the big dance.

I think theyd be just on the outside looking in. NIT bid is definitely in play though.

That team also had 12 Q1 and Q2 wins (6 in each). Pretty sure we had the most Q1 wins of any team not to make the tournament. As of today, this team has 5 total Q1 and 2 wins.

With the new NIT format, making the NIT field becomes easier the more SEC teams that get in the NCAA tournament.

Not only would the NIT bid be in play, we would be hosting.

Assuming the women’s team hosts, it may put the logistics of hosting in jeopardy.

Yeah, we would need the Tuesday night slot.

Would be squarely on the Bubble.

They would be 19-12 (11-7) in league play

Wins against WF, UK, Aggie, USCe, Miss State

Terrible losses to UGA, Nicholls.

Without the Nicholls loss, yes they would be in.
With it, they would be last four in/out

Nope. I’ll go in record saying we will never make the tournament with this coach.
