Yep...empty Tiger Stadium, next year equates to 10s of millions of dollars potentially.

FLA will be close, imo.

It's like a train wreck. I'm actually intrigued to what Bama is going to do to us. Like is 70+ unreasonable? I think not.

They beat the ever living frick out of Ole Miss (66-3) and Saban was PISSED AFTER THE GAME AT THEIR PLAY

do you think Florida would struggle with Troy at home???(in spite of their qb troubles)

Nope, we are in for a truly tragic, epic season.

DELTADOC is on to something... This man knows.. glad to see a fan looking through the fog and avoiding the shite smell.

HMMMM,,,When is the last time LSU won a big bowl which brings in ($$$$$) its been 10 years. No major bowls, no major money.

Mediocre play since 2013, Death valley empties by half time, loss of concession dollars.

The hold back to fire MILES...lots of debt, and Weary boosters....until the damage was too bad, they had to stop the bleeding.

Govenor Edwards budget woes, and threats to shut down athletics last season, pinch a penny save a little, with a $3.5 million in savings on Coaches salary to divert booster money

FOCUS people FOCUS...the dark days are not over,

I would suspect if they make a change they will go offense and try to keep Aranda and Raymond. Anyone expecting a huge hire is going to be sadly mistaken unless it's someone out of a job like stoops or Kelly. We're looking at a Mike Norvell, Scott Frost, Frank Wilson type name.

Do ya'll just not understand how hiring a big time coach works? Every time we try to make a change some of you keep picking out what coaches we need to keep. When trying to make a big time coaching hire we don't get to tell said big time coach what asst. coaches he can and can't keep. That coach will laugh in your face and proceed to tell you to frick off. If we have to get rid of some of our better coaches so be it. You've got to allow the head coach to pick who he wants on his own staff.

They cannot afford to keep O. Say we win two more and finish 5-7 this year. Miss the bowl. Recruiting is already in shambles with decommits incoming. We likely are lucky to finish in Top 15 recruiting.

We lose Key, Williams, Guice, Lacatoure, et al.

There will be serious challenges selling boxes, and serious challenges filling seats next year due to apathy and resentment.

That will cost LSU tens of millions of dollars.

There is no way to get around some level of damage to the program. At this point, it’s about damage mitigation.

Listen, I’ve heard info and been wrong on here. Most recently I was right about JA hiring O last fall and right about the false info on Jimbo.

I’m hearing there are serious discussions going on that will solidify with losses to FL and AU.

Keep Aranda. You are fricking idiots if you think we should get rid of him.

I was never a big fan of the Canada hire, it just brought excitement to our predictable offense. No telling how he would thrive with a line that actually blocked and a good QB.

I think it would take an enormously loaded & powerful booster to get this done - like someone like Shaq making a large donation. We're talking about 12 for Orgeron, 7 between Aranda and Canada, and 2 for Alleva. Over $20 million just for the current staff, not counting what is still being paid to Miles, or what would be needed for a new staff.
yes, this would be an outrageous bill. Is it even worth it? It almost seems that not only should Alleva be fired, he should be prosecuted, lol. Or even the target of a class action lawsuit just for the principal of thing. For what he has done to the University and how he has almost single handedly cost us all this money.

Have you heard anything about who they would go after to replace O then? Would Jimbo be in play again if it was the Boosters and BOS going after him and not Alleva?

Jimbo wasn’t really even in play last year. That ship has sailed. I have not heard but given the monetary outlays, I think it unreasonable to assume a really large name.

I think we are high-end looking at PJ...I could see Frost...maybe Brohm (but we would get outbid by UTenn, UF or TX A&M).

That's going to be a tricky hire. With the money we would be liable for with the Les and potentially Orgeron buyouts, you're not going to have the luxury, realistically or PR wise, to throw at anyone. Bargain hire, but one that can actually lead your program. Tricky balance.

That is not good then. I would take Brohm and Fleck for sure though.

Saban was a bargain hire. The thing about coaches is they were or are all bargain hires until they are not.
