If we let Aranda walk and keep Orgeron, I will NEVER be a tiger fan again.

With more reports of Aranda being a candidate elsewhere, we better boot Orgeron and promote Aranda, get his own OC, and move on.

Otherwise I’m done

We would be horrible next year in all likelihood.

I understand the feeling just not sure anything like that has ever been done before, and if we were going to make a change would we really promote from within again? What about Alleva's stated requirement that LSU is not the place for a first time HC?

Quit lying. You'd be a fan if the Islamic State were coaching LSU

Aranda is going to be a candidate for a lot of positions. Get ready.

If O really loves LSU, he'll accept a demotion to DL coach/recruiting coordinator where he belongs and allow Aranda to start running the show. Hell even keep the salary. Just do the best thing for the program.

Alleva canning O would be an admission of his own failure. Do you think that's going to happen?

Right but why promote him to associate heavy coach if this wasn’t on the table

Uhhhhhh, yeah, we’re not firing a 9-3 or 10-3 coach in year 2 to promote our DC that has never been a HC. The best we can hope for is for Ensminger to remove himself from the OC position and then we don’t frick up the hire. It needs to happen immediately though so that person can be here by January to start working with Burrow.

If we lose Aranda, it would be disastrous because I doubt Coach O would find a competent replacement. And if he did, if the guy didn't like the same beer as O or something stupid like that, he'd get run off anyway.
