So... still nothing to base your argument on. Cool, good talk

His actions that haven’t been better than Miles and that in many ways have been worse?
But that eye test, bro!

Lowered expectations are such a pathetic thing.
The nega is real. It’s not lowered expectations, it’s lowered reality because of Miles and being pleased on the incline after mid-season. Be pleased in the progress, you emo teen.

he was 9-3 he last full year. As I said, you're stupid.
His literal last full year is not all of what is covered by “in the end” generally. Thanks for ignoring the previous season where he lost four. As you thought I was, you are stupid.

his roof was 13-1.
fricking seven years ago! That’s not Miles in the end, that’s Miles in his prime. I’d love to have that Miles, but he disappeared when the clock struck zero on that one fateful loss.
He had to go, and Orgeron is putting the pieces together to (hopefully and by all appearances) bring us back to where Miles USED TO be and away from where Miles was IN THE END.
Lord you’re an idiot. Or blinded by I don’t even know what. Eat a cookie and smile, a-hole, it’s Christmas-time and we’re playing in the citrus bowl on New Year’s Day. We’ve got a chance to finish top ten or close to it by next season’s open.

Yes. Les was held in such esteem by other programs that Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss. State, UCF, Texas A&M, Nebraska, SMU, Baylor last year, Tennessee, Florida, Oregon State, Texas last year, Houston last year, UCLA all offered him a job. Oh wait.

In the little over a year he has been in charge of the program I’ve seen nothing that leads me to believe he can’t and won’t be more successful than Miles
Seriously? Were you paying attention weeks 3-5?

Ok but you argued O is a better coach and would be more successful. You still haven't offered anything to support that. If it's a hunch or blind faith just say so. Les was fired for hovering around 9-3 or so in his last few years. We are sitting at 9-3 right now. And with - gasp - players that Les recruited and much of his remaining staff. I bet you discredit Miles' early success because many of his players were recruited by Saban
He does!
All of Miles's early success at LSU accrues to Saban.
But all of Orgeron's early success at LSU accrues to Orgeron.
And nothing accrues to Miles. How does that work?

Clock management is worth his buyout. Coach O will win more SEC Championships than any other coach in LSU’s history. Talent is the key to victory. Haters will always hate

Firing him was right regardless of who was hired.
Most retarded thinking possible. Tennessee fans said the same when they pushed Fulmer out and they have suffered every since for that stupid thinking. It's only right if the results improve and the results are worse when you consider our historic defeat to Mississippi State and the defeat by a fricking SBC team. If Les was still here and we had the exact same 9-3 season, the screaming and shouting of another mediocre season by the Les sucks crowd would be deafening.
Les is gone two years and LSU is no better off than we were in 2012. We still haven't beat Alabama, we still haven't won the west, and we still are not relevant in the playoffs. And next season isn't looking any better than our last six.
I thought the purpose of firing a winning coach was to do better and not simply remain the same or do worse.

You're being intentionally obtuse and acting like a total dick about it.
He stated O is 10-4 in the SEC...Miles was like 15-11....he mentioned in game adjustments, etc....where he believes O is better.
How the fuq else do you want him to make a case for his original assertion? You keep saying you don't see where he has anything to base his argument on....you don't wanna see....good talk!

Thx for making a case to fire Les much, much sooner than we did.

Seriously have you ever paid attention to what usually happens when teams have new coaches and coordinators? Is it usually a smooth transition when a new offense is implemented? Did you pay attention to the freshmen linemen and veterans that were out? Did you see how much the team improved from the Troy game to Bama game? Name one year under miles that the team got significantly better as the season progressed.
Is it a fact that Saban recruits were playing for Miles when he won 2 sec titles and a national title? Is it a fact that without Saban players we won 1 sec title in 8 years?
Sure we can give miles credit for the players we have now...how much blame do we attribute to Miles for the Troy loss?

He refuses to see the reasons I listed bc he knows they are all correct. It can’t really be disputed that Ohas shown he is better in many areas than Miles. At this point I would like to see what areas they think Miles was better in coaching. I know they will say sunbelt team yada yada yada historical loss to Miss st...which means nothing bc les almost always lost one sec game a year to a team more inferior than miss st.

Wake up and smell the coffee, dude. The point of making a change is to do better and not worse. No one is upset that Les is gone, but many are upset we hired the worse coach in Old Miss history who is not moving LSU toward a west title, but who did direct LSU to a fricking defeat to a fricking SBC team, a historic defeat to Mississippi State, and two defeats to Alabama.
How you can pump up a coach who hasn't done anything remarkable for LSU and shite continually on one who did is laughable and shows that you have a major bias or you are nuts.

Y’all act like O was the first choice...you do realize Jimbo and his agent probably saw weakness and got greedy wanting an A&M type of deal and then Herman had pretty much agreed to be thecoach and then leveraged us against Texas?
Now Jimbo just went 5-6 in the ACC after an opening loss to Bama that sent his team into a season long funk and you think he is worthy of 10 years 75 million? Jimbo has a historic loss to a team o beat last year...imagine LSU fans if we got beat by 43

O shouldn't have been in the running to begin with. His career resume as a HC sucked.
Jimbo has taken two teams to the playoffs in his career. How many has O taken? Jimbo has won a number of conference title in his career. How many conference titles has O won in his career?
Lets talk about Smart. He takes over for a fired coach and in two years he wins the SEC. You think O is going to win the SEC next year?
Wake up and smell the coffee.

O is who you have now. Not trying to be a jerk but when all is said and done, that's who you got.
You don't have to like the hire, as I'm sure you know but he has done better than I thought.
After those two games with Moo State and Troy, I wasn't very optimistic for the rest of the season.
There's still work to be done, no doubt, but he kept the team focused and we beat a #10 Auburn team who went on to beat 2 #1 teams. He deserves credit for that.
If next year starts off like this year, then we can talk about it then but as of right now, he has done well, not to be misconstrued with awesome but given those two afore mentioned games, I wasn't sure we'd win an SEC game. Again, there's still work to be done but give credit when it's due.
