Lol.So stupid that I know that many women's sports would be dropped throughout the country if Athletic Departments were not forced to pay for them. That my dumbass friend is a fact.

Actually I think Beth and the lady tigers have over achieved the last 4 years. As for Paul goes I like to compare him to Miles. They both won a championship early in her career and lost another championship. It’s time for a change and someone who can bring energy to the program. The one I’ve noticed over the past years is that once our players arrive at LSU they don’t progress. They either stay at the same level or regress. That’s my opinion.

Beth Torina's been a pretty good coach. What's your problem with her?

Perhaps you should go look up how many times LSU made the Cws before Torina, and then how many times with her as a coach.

Also, this was supposed to be a down year for the team, but they are still pretty darn good.

Remember, this was “the year” for the baseball team....

The most consistent sports over the last five years at LSU have mostly been the women’s sports. You guys choose talk shite on the female sports because Baseball is struggling and that’s dumb.

Torina has done a great job for a team that no one thought would be worth a damn this season. How the hell do you compare that to do the #1 Ranked Team in Preseason....just reaching.

No. I think that Women's Sports is a huge money loser for the Athletic Department. Softball or Women's Basketball. The money spent is a waste.

In 2018, only 3 THREE of LSU's 21 sports turned a profit (Football, baseball, and barely basketball). So should we drop the other 18 sports just because they don't turn a profit or not care about those sports. Bc if that's a case then dont call yourself an LSU fan. If thats not the case, then your only problem is with women's sports, and that sounds like more of a problem with you.

right and womens softball is the best womens program at LSU. and arguably as good as baseball and football as they stand right now over the last few years. 4 world series since 2012. shite softball is the best program at ULL as well.

it would be nice if softball could find a way to make more money and be in the black instead of red. but softball is not a problem. it is very popular and successful.

No you can't drop every sport but you can't have these money losers being promoted as "great programs" when they hemorrhage money. It flies in the face of reality plus there are limits to how much money you want to lose. It is ridiculous to pretend it is important to have these sports and talk about how they are the "best program on campus" when they lose millions of dollars and are here because of Title IX.

LSU and Colleges are not Welfare States.

Look... there are only three sports that make money at LSU: Football, Men's Hoops, and Baseball. LSU Baseball is a unicorn considering that the majority of schools do NOT turn a profit for baseball.

You do understand that every other sport loses money, regardless of gender. So, it is not just women's sports, it is the non-revenue generating sports as aw whole. It is not that difficult to understand. For example, you purposely exclude Men's Track and Field that loses more money than every female sport except for Women's Hoops and Women's Track and Field (by 3 WHOLE DOLLARS).

If you are going to talk crap, then know wtf you are talking about, jackass.

That’s what I saw Tuesday night and confirmed last night. They looked to be going through the motions. First 2 innings they made Isaiah work. Then first pitch ground outs and 7 pitch innings. Baseball is a game of battles. They would come to the plate and hit the first pitch they saw which helps Isaiah last longer and saves arks pen. Didn’t help we gave up 14 runs.

Title IX could be dropped today and womens sports would remain as long as LSU had athletics. Womens sports have had just as much if not more success than the men's sports especially in recent years. But go ahead continue to ignore the men's sports that swallow money while producing little to no success and keep throwing around Title IX to somehow support your ignorant argument.

We have never won a championship in softball.

Girouard was a pretty good coach but could never get it done in the post season whatsoever. 11 years and only 2 World Series appearances and 2 super regionals.

Torina in 7 years has got us to 4 college World Series and was one play away from knocking out the eventual national champions at their super last year. After losing two of arguably the best pitchers in LSU history last year and returned the worst offense in the entire SEC from a year ago, they were on the brink of hosting a super this season and tied for 2nd in the conference. When everyone thought we would be a train wreck this year.

The offense has been playing like shite lately and they have not been playing good ball but this post is dumb.
