Was the title IX stuff intended for me? I didn’t bring it up. Now not working a count men’s or women’s is poor baseball/softball.

Bottom line. Most don't really care about women's sports. Attendance figures prove this.

This is a dumb take

Gymnastics and softball bring out a lot of nice crowds. gymnastics especially gets over 10,000 people per meet

None of the smaller sports will ever match football, mens basketball and baseball. There won't be any huge crowds going to watch golf, tennis, and swimming (both men and women).

No what is a dumb take is denying the fact that Women's Athletics are a huge drain on Athletic Departments all over the country and that many schools would drop them immediately if they could.

The fact is that Women's Athletics is not driven by interest or demand but by a law put forward by a few liberals in Congress who were typical "do gooders". This is Title IX.

The end result is that the coaches of these colossal money losing programs are paid for off the backs of sports people actually come to see and pay for. This sense of entitlement is wrong. What has happened is the Schools have had to spend millions to make a handful of malcontents happy. These players and coaches are the ones benefitting but very few people want it or support it.

To tell people who don't care about women's athletics that they have to pay for it just to provide for the very few that do care is nuts and paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to coaches for these teams is incredibly stupid.

Say if I like broccoli but no store wants to carry broccoli because I am one of the very few who would eat it and the store would lose money for carrying broccoli. But by God I want them to give me my broccoli and I sue to make the store give me broccoli. Now all the stores have broccoli but nobody buys it but a very few. Now the cost of carrying broccoli for a handful of people is passed on to people who like carrots and the price of carrots must go up. I don't give a damn because I am the one who matters and I got my broccoli. It makes no sense.
