Will probably end up with >82 teams bowl eligible this year, so no 5 win teams getting in.

If there aren't enough bowl eligible teams then they pick 5-7 teams based on APR (Academic Progress Rate, I think). Not sure how good ours is.

I still have hope the Tigers can still have a winning season. If we can have a nice victory over ULM that would give some needed experience for the guys stepping up and will build on giving them some confidence. Who is to know if these young men can beat aTm their last game. The way those guys played the last 2 weeks as a team says something. They gave Arky and Bama all they wanted and make a play or two with positive gains and catches would have make a hellofa difference.
As I say a 6-6 team is still possible and still watching one game at a time. To answer your question as good as I know how ...... 1. - 5-7 Record you do not get a bowl game unless there isn't enough 6 game winners to fill the Bowl Games. If LSU finishes 5-7 I'm sure they will be the first 5-7 team to be picked for an 8 game winner.

if it came to it, yes. LSU as a brand would still put butts in seats and would gather a TV audience.
