We get tons of respect. Even last year, we were constantly ranked highest among teams with the same record as ours. We lost 3 games and ended up at #6. We were ahead of Florida who had the same record and beat us head to head. We were ahead of UGA who had a better record and has been a media darling of late.

I don't think anyone is out to get us, but I do think Texas will receive more hype due to:
-Ehlinger being a Heisman candidate
-Texas being a big market team in a big market state
-Desire to elevate someone outside of the SEC and especially increase the relevance of the Big 12
I think most do see we have more top to bottom talent, but there is a desire to see non-SEC teams rise.
