Yes, I know we play aTm this week, but this isn't about looking ahead. This is about us staying off the field.

For the love of God, if we beat Bama in 20 days and hand Bama their 3rd loss of the season, let's please show some restraint and act like we've been there before...since you know, we have.

I will never understand why people are so triggered by field storming that they feel the need to pearl clutch and gatekeep.

It's drunk people having fun because it's one of the few times they can act childish without judgment.

It's ok to have fun, we're watching kids play games, it's not that serious.

I would like for us to act like we’ve been there, simply because it shows that we expect greatness. With that said, if it’s a hard fought emotional game and we win, I don’t really care who goes on the field.

Why does this matter?

Does field storming embarrass you? Do you have to go to work and apologize for the behavior of your Alma mater and say yeah you think it’s dumb and you’re ashamed? I don’t get it. Kids are having fun. It’s Bama for God’s sake.

Field storming should be reserved for teams of importance. 3 loss Bama isn't worthy of such a celebration. Act accordingly.

How about quit worrying about what image we project to other teams fans.
It’s what women do

Your head coach said it’s unnerving. That’s enough reason.

Of course it's not that serious, but if we storm the field for beating every ranked team we play, it'll kinda lose its luster. When we play Bama and will likely be ranked ahead of them and will be favored. You really think winning that game would be worthy storming the field?

“Act like you’ve been there”

I’ve never liked this phrase when applied to a fan base. To a player or team, perhaps. Not to a fan.

I have no answer to this because I don't waste time on thinking if games are worthy or not to storm a field.

People that bitch about this have failed to realize that field storming in 2024 isn’t the same as field storming in 2004 and they just need to accept it. It’s a thing now. Everywhere. Like it or not.

You’re assuming he went to LSU. 90% of the rantards did not.

Most of this board doesn’t actually attend the games anyway

Reverse psychology. So, storm the field.

You’re not him nor do you know how he feels when that happens including worrying about the safety of people who aren’t in pads that work the games including people that are older.
So, yeah, it is enough reason.
Plus, I agree with another poster about the quality of the competition matters.

I’ve thrown oranges and sugar cubes on the field and watched a game end with both teams in a fight before the clocked was at 0.

None of it was appropriate. It was really stupid to be honest.
