Absolutely not. I want Sankey to have to suffer the indignity of handing the trophy to Lane. And then I want Lane to drop it on the field like a piece of garbage.

You people are letting emotion cloud your mind into silly mush. If LSU wins the CG, they should cherish that achievement then get ready for the real championship. The SEC trophy should proudly be added to the collection like every one before.

People don't understand, LSU is in a strong position of power here. Sankey seems like the type that will want to make some type of PUBLIC punishment to show that he is the MAN. Sankey is playing with fire. He is already about to get burned from the players that will be filing a suit, they don't want or need LSU filing a damages suit. I don't agree with any type of punishment here. Had other members in the SEC not done far more than LSU, that would be one thing. However, they have done far worse, while LSU did not even roster a guy, much less play one. If LSU wants to gain some power back in the SEC, this is the time. Sankey is dumb it appears, and certainly overly emotional and not fit for leadership, but I'm sure he has some good counsel.....one would think.

If we are banned from the SECCG for this, there's a decent chance the CFP don't choose us for the same reason.

I see a path setting up for Orgeron to retake the HC position. This is exactly rhe type of situation he has taken advantage of many times.

I'd kinda like to see us play in the SECCG and wipe the floor with our opponent, then walk back to the locker room, change, and leave the stadium with Sankey and the trophy sitting alone on the stage.

I would not be surprised if Plowman and sankeys people have already back channeled orgeron and his agent with full backing of the RAC. This is the trap. Now they spring the trap.

We pretty much already know that it will. It’s just a matter of time. It’s being talked about already.
It’s a pointless game that only hurts the teams who play in it. Also, it’s not as big of a money maker as some people think. Moscona has covered this a few times.

Those games need to go away. They serve no purpose anymore. If you do earn a spot in the conference championship game and lose, you then get punished for it while the third and fourth place finishers sit at home and reap the benefits.
