Say there is no further proof and the extent of Wade’s involvement leads to no nothing after the federal trial...Alleva would have to be gone, right? I have a hard time seeing where both are still at LSU next year.

If Wade nor the program gets in any trouble

NOPE.
Alleva did what BOS wanted
WW did what his attorney said.
They could both survive.

We (lsu fans and players) know what we want and what would make sense if Wade is cleared.

what will happen with this bad news bears admin and their finger puppet Alleva is laughably unpredictable

It's my understanding that Alleva's contract is up until July 2020. He'll probably retire then. We are most likely stuck with him for the next 15-16 months. Booooooo...

If I loved the company I worked for and they fired my boss to show they respected me more than him, then yeah I might stay.

IMO, Wade surviving is the only thing that could save Alleva. If Wade goes down, Alleva has culpability too as this situation has been ongoing since 2017. If it took a yahoo news leak in March of 2019 to get Alleva to do any investigation, then he's going down with Wade. At this point, I think Alleva knows this and is trying to do damage control any way he knows how. His days should be limited regardless of how this plays out. If Wade survives, he looks like an idiot for overreacting. If Wade doesn't survive, he's staring LOIC in the face.

This however is a very valid point. LSU could simply not renew his contract and encourage him to "retire" and not make it a story.

If they've got nothing on WW, I think he's here for another season and then he's gone.

Damage has been done, and quite honestly it's just a matter of time before Alleva fricks him over again.

$9 million, perceived as a risk for other programs and Alleva apparently retiring July 2020 is a good incentive for Wade to mend fences, plow through the rough patch and continue to build the basketball program to national prominence. He has a chance of becoming a very powerful coach on LSU campus in 3-4 years and getting things done for the basketball program the way he wants too.

Wade has 10 million reasons to come back. One doesn't typically walk away from that kind of money willingly. Wade still has a family to think about. This is, after all, his job and how he supports them.

I think Alleva’s contract is up this June or July 2019.

That's the best case scenario. What's more likely is the LSU admin will frick this up, Wade is gone, and F. King and Alleva skate by and remain at LSU.

Get ready for it, bc we all know it's coming.

If he wasn’t suspended he may have become the most powerful coach in campus this season.

This article from October 2015 says it was extended to July 2020. LINK

Truth.

He's certainly the most talented coach, although Orgeron has surprised me.

CORRECT. No public talk of any extension (doesn't mean there aren't any behind the scenes).

Alleva is talking to the media like he's trying to isolate any connection with Wade to the extent he did something wrong.

If Wade did something wrong, Alleva was the AD and should have to fall on the sword as well.

If Wade stays, no trust left between them, so Alleva goes.

If there's a silver lining in all this, . . . . .
