If Wade isn’t back while Alleva and King stay then I’m out. I don’t know how anyone could support that

If it comes out that he 100% cheated and was bold enough to be so careless about it, hell no I wouldn’t support him. Anyone that would is an idiot.

I'm in the same boat, bud, but I'll simply watch all events on tv, and I'm not giving them 1 measly penny.

To each their own, but whoever continues to give money to LSU athletics after all these years of incompetence has no room to bitch when the people they’re rewarding continue to frick up

Easy.....
I don't. I stopped when "I am the search" reared its ugly mug.
LSU isn't getting another penny from me until JA and FKA are out

Our only hope is alleva goes also if they fire wade. Not sure how the bos can allow alleva to hire a 4th basketball coach in 11 years.

Yes. I would go to war for that man. He’s done more for LSU athletics in 1.75 years than cum-bubble Alleva has done in over 10 years.
I haven’t watched college basketball since our last Final Four run because that’s the last time we had a product on the court worth watching. And I don’t like basketball that much.

The same way I still supported the USA when Hussein Obama was living in the White House.

The same way I did after Miles was canned

If the clowns fire Wade. I am not going to support LSU at all until Alleva & Dr F Homoeaux until both are fired. Tough love. Cutoff the TAF donation as we’ll.

Why would Wade be canned?
Posted on 3/30/19 at 7:00 am to CBandits82
I’ve already cut donations to the endowment and will only give enough to renew my football tickets which will be given away.

LSU fans are such pussies. Quit whining and tune in today at 1pm like I will.

If the entire college basketball recruiting scene is a dirty game of hidden bids for top players, which appears to be the case, why should LSU be made an example of? This is my problem for holding Wade accountable for the sins of everyone else as well. I want a level playing field however it is constructed. The word "cheated" is being misused here if it is being applied to a common practice that someone must follow to remain competitive. It's very much like having to drive ten miles over the speed limit if that's what all the others are doing just for the sake of safety. Obeying that speed limit can get you in trouble if it means your are causing a clog on the highway. You are not necessarily speeding but doing what is best for your situation.
If Wade is simply doing what the vast majority of coaches are doing then according to the NCAA, if they don't punish EVERYONE, he isn't "cheating". This story is far bigger than Will Wade and LSU and I don't think the NCAA wants to go anywhere close to it as it will destroy the money machine. The LSU administration has set themselves up to be made an example of by their own stupidity in how they have reacted to all of this. They did this, not Will Wade.

As much as I love my Alma Mater , Like you if they get rid of the best coach we have on staff besides D.D. Breaux, I'm done. As a matter of fact, just stopped my donations to TAF and season football tickets figuring I can get a better deal in the fall.

quote:questionable statement. IMO Beth Torino is the best coach on campus. She is really the next Skip Bertman.
D.D. Breaux
Jay is why DD all of a sudden became a winner and when he becomes head coach, I believe LSU will win a natty.

This. There is always talk of not giving them money but as long as the money keeps coming in, this arse-clown will still be at the helm. Until the money begins to dry up, from the big and small donors, it is just another day at the office.
They do not care what you think as long as you pay.

Meh.
Keep a safe distance. Save your money.
Overall, if you do not know what CFB is by this point, I can't help you. I love LSU and hope the best for the players, but watching them on TV and saving my time/money is the better option for this sport. This sport is run by an entity that favors five to seven programs, and sees to it that their preseason predictions become reality, regardless of results on the field.
Baseball...I know people are pissed at CPM at this time, but the team usually comes around mid to late April. As far as that sport is concerned, every game is streamed. Games are long, so again, TV or radio is the best option.
Basketball...Yeah, I was OK with spending a little money and time as the product was worth it this year. However, IF Wade leaves, this product is done again for another decade or more.
Will be an interesting next few months for the Big 3 sports, that's for sure.
