Would be great but UNC Greensboro probably has standards and probably feel they could do better

Jerod Haase is supposed to be the favorite for the job. He made the tourney once in 12 seasons at UAB and Stanford, none in 8 at Stanford. McMahon might be a big fish if their search is like that.

Yes. It’s not his decision alone but he needs to get it done

Again, I don't even give a shite about basketball and I think he should be fired.

I’m in the same boat as you. I don’t really care about basketball and I still think he should be fired. But I could also see the vantage of waiting another year to let the buyout lower while also circling the wagons and getting the money together to make a big push for someone elite.

If you can get Wade this year then you do it but if you can’t waiting a year and making a push for a big name next year may just be worth the misery.

Strike one. Part of your job as AD is to fund raise.

If you can't come up with funds to fix the only other money maker on campus, you are failing

All it takes is money. I am sure he has the letter already typed up and waiting on the cash to come rolling in.

On a more serious note, I expect LSU to see what develops in the supply side of this market. We are not in a good position to get in a money fight right now. A few coaches like Bobby Hurley have been let go but none hired to my knowledge. I expect the next 2-3 wks to get hot as more teams get eliminated and who is "available."

There’s 2 type of money people,
1. The people that gave money to McCantWin and got bamboozled
2. The people that want Wade & will not give next year if we keep McLoser

Woodward paid Mulkey and nailed Jay but BK turned out to be a whiff after a bright start and McMahon has been a disaster in the money sports.
I’d give him credit for Jay( lighting in a bottle but Kim was ready to come home. With the terrible contracts he did at aTm and now here, he should never be an AD again

The contract was not his mess but it's his job to fix basketball when he got the AD job.
How is he suppose to pay for the buyout when the boosters just ponies up over a 100 million for football?

You're a moron if you don't consider context
