Only one person in entire Tiger Rant mentioned Chris Holtmann. My daughter goes to Butler and I watched a lot of Butler games this year including upset games against #1 Villanova.

We need to hire up-and-coming coach like Holtmann. Crean is just average and he will bring headache.

No to Crean. Yes to Holtmann.

Yes. There are different expectations at LSU and none of the back room shite. Anyone who doesn't think he's a top 25 coach is a moron. Let me guess, you'd rather Stansbury or Davis

The previous respondents dont have a clue what they are talking about. The guy won the Big 10 twice in the last five seasons and was Big 10 COY in 2016. He has been to post season play 75% of yrs he has been a HC. These idiots want guys with 10 losses a yr in a MM...

Tell me what your expectations are?

Let me guess

make the tournament 2/3 years, with a sweet 16 run evreynow and then

And I agree, those are realistic expectations for LSU.

That is what Crean did at IU. So you feel like IU is on equal ground with LSU?

Let me inform the mouthbreathers in this thread

The state of Indiana has had 14 ESPN 100 players in the last 5 years.........

It is waaaaay easier to win there.

Louisiana had 10 in the top 100 and didn't compete with successful in state programs like Notre Dame and Purdue. You also can't even compare Big 10 basketball to SEC. I don't care about Crean but don't act like he had it made and lucked into his success in a bad league.

My number was way off

State of Indiana had 21 top 100 recruits

Louisiana had 9

He has Trace Armstrong as his agent. Same agent as Tom Herman.

That alone is the reason Alleva will never make that phone call.
