Agree op..only one program in conference that is truly formidable. not asking to overtake UK, just be competitive...do that and the rest will take care of itself. SEC has always had a merry go round of teams rise up to challenge UK, none ever stick around. No reason LSU cant/shouldnt be the one to stick around.

Kevin Keatts from UNC Wilmiington...dont want some retread.. this job SHOULD attract quality candidates. UK is the only team you really have to be concerned with...Be competitive with UK, get a conference title every 3rd or 4th year, make the damn tournament on a regular basis(finish 2nd-4th in conf) and you're loved. throw in an elite 8 or final four and you're legend.

his maturation was the key to this team. in my opinion. i remember when the tigers lost to ASU in a tourney last year in hawaii, MT acted a fool after the game. i thought he would be trouble, being a juco and all. played kinda selfish last year. he had game last year, but the total effing package this year. the way he takes it to the hole, looking for contact. :cheers: thanks MT!!!! also, a big thanks to coach johnson! :geauxtigers:

coach johnson yelling at thornton at the end of the game? i guess MT was hootin and hollerin after the buzzer sounded. coach johnson yelled at him to get his butt over to the sideline to get in line and shake hands. i loved it. :geauxtigers:
