The kid is super talented, he just needs to be coached up. You can clearly see Max is the more coached up player being a former NFL QB's son. TJ has the better arm and more upside. But as of today Max is better. I hope he doesn't transfer because I believe he can be a good one, he just needs to be patient and keep his head down and work.

I don’t think anybody is against TJ at all, I’m not sure what you’re alluding to, the kid was a freshman just like Max and put into a very tough situation. I like TJ is a player and, if he wins the job, then obviously the coaches know that he worked the hardest and he has the best chance of us winning

Finley started against the 3 best defenses we played all year.

Good post. I know the two wins at the end of the year were awesome, but I'm not sure how people have such strong opinions on either of these guys based on what we saw this year.
Obviously, with a limited understanding of the offense, Johnson's mobility gave us an extra dimension, but Finley had some really nice moments as well.

The question should be, can he keep it with solid play on the field in real games, not practice. If he can do that (which he couldn't do last year and Max did) I will support him.
