should they take the ball first or give Newton a shot first!

Which is bigger risk, our offense going three and out on first possession of the game or Newton putting together a touchdown scoring drive to open on our defense.

Delay the short side option as long as possible. Play defense first

Go with your strength. Defense is LSU's strength. Get ball first in second half.

I'd want the ball. Hopefully Peterson houses the kick-off. Then the defense picks Newton off for a pick 6 and we're up 14-0 before Jefferson even steps foot on the field. After he fumbles the 1st drive and throw a pick the next, we'll be tied 14-14 and Lee's turn in the rotation. It'd be like starting the game with Lee at 0-0!!

We make some Interesting time management choices at the end of halfs. I'd rather not see AU have a scoring drive at the end of 1st half then get the ball again to start the 3rd

Take the ball! Limit the time our D is on the field.

Differ, they'll receive and then we can kick again to start the second half.

I say let JJ have his start and his one set of downs than we can get to JL for the rest of the game.

Have to put your defense out on the field first and get the second half possession always. The only way I wouldn’t do this is if you had a lights out offense that couldn’t be stopped, since we don’t have that issue, defense.

Unless our offense becomes something they haven't been, we need to show Newton and Auburn that they won't be able to put up numbers against us.

You take the fricking ball. On the road, you have to get points first to take the crowd out(or at least try). If we defer then Les really is a dumbass.

If the wind is blowing maybe we should pick which goal we want to defend in the 4th.

but our QB is going to at best go 3 and out and punt, and likely turn it over to them for an easy score.
